Mount Everest is the highest mountain in the world with the height of 8848m high from sea level.Nepal is the home of this mountain and this mountain is popularly known as Sagarmatha in Nepal whereas it is also known as Chomolungma in Tibetan. It lies in the top of the Seven Summit list and is also the highest point on Earth Crust.This mountain is the part os Himalayan Range of Asia which even touches the border of China. This mountain can also be found at the top of the Eight-Thousanders list and the exactly located on the border between Nepal and Tibet.This mountain is the source of attraction and tourism as well as it is the precious gift to the country Nepal as well as for the world.

Mount Everest being the highest mountain in the world has been climbed by many climbers.It's not easy as injuries,death,bad weather,altitude sickness is common. But Tenzing Norgay from Nepal and Edmund Hillary from Britain made the ascent possible in 1953. Their safe return had encourage others to climb the mountain too. A woman named Junko Tabei,a Japanese citizen also got sucess in reaching to the summit of this mountain on May 16,1975 whereas from Nepal too a woman climber Pasang Lhamu Sherpa successfully ascended the mountain but unfortunately she died in avalanche. There are two climbing routes southeast ridge from Nepal and northeast ridge from Tibet but the northeast ridge is the used rarely wheres the southeast is used frequently and was also used by the first climbers too. Mount Everest is Nepal's and World's most precious gift.
