This decision applies to people who entered the UAE on visit or tourist visas, holders of exit permits, and residents who cancelled their residency visas but were unable to depart. The exemption applies to fines incurred starting from February 28, 2026, ensuring that affected individuals can resolve their legal status without financial penalties caused by circumstances beyond their control.
