UAE VISA UPDATE (INSIDE)

Amnesty is here and what you need to know to avail amnesty .

1. The amnesty is for 2 months starting 1st september to 31st october .

2. Everyone who has violated their visa status will avail amnesty , visit visa holders , resident visa holders , run away cases , undocumented children born with no papers , those without their passports as well .

3. Amnesty is free - all the overstay fines and abcond fees are automatically waived on the system .

4. visit visa holders and tourist visa holders - from dubai should visit al awir immigration center to process a leave permit .

5. visit visa holders for Abu dhabi , Sharjah , Ajman , Fujairah , Ras Alkhaimah , al ain and um al quwain should visit the ICP centers in these location to process the leave permit .

6. The leave permit once processed is valid for 14 days and you should leave the country before the expiry failure to leave , all the penalties will be reinstated .

7. For those who do not wish to leave , need to proceed with application of resident visa from their respective employers and visit the Amer centres to change the status , where they will avail abscond removal , cancellation of previous visa if not cancelled and overstay charges waived approving the visa to proceed with medicals and biometrics for a new Emirates identity card .

8. Previous resident visa with overstays and abscond and would like to leave and avail amnesty need to visit Amer center to process the leave permit as well.

9. Lost passports and those passport held by their previous employers visit Al awir or ICP centers to get the out pass and the leave permit to present to your relevant embassies to avail travel document that will allow you leave with no ban .

10.NOTE - THERE IS NO VISA CHANGE OR A2A IF YOU AVAIL AMNESTY ,you can only go back to your home country and come back with the right visa .

11. Note - the leave permit is only 20 AED ...so the whole process is almost free just need money to buy your one way ticket and leave with no ban .

11.NOTE CAREFULLY - THIS AMNESTY ALLOWS EVERYONE TO LEAVE UAE WITHOUT PAYING FINES AND NO BAN - YOU CAN ALWAYS COME BACK - alot of guys selling rumours.

12. Note carefully - if you have a pending criminal case , civil case , bank loan , credit card , etisalat bills , car fines unfortunately you have to clear your case for you to avail amnesty .
