Visiting Dubai First Time??
1. Stay hydrated: Dubai can get very hot, especially during the summer months. Make sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day.
2. Respect local culture: Dubai is a Muslim country, so be sure to dress modestly and respect local customs.
3. Explore beyond the malls: While our malls are amazing, there's so much more to see in Dubai! Take a desert safari, visit the Miracle Garden, or explore the historic Al Fahidi Neighbourhood.
4. Try local cuisine: You have to try some delicious Middle Eastern food while you're here! Shawarma, machboos, and luqaimat are some of our favorites.
5. Haggle at souks: Our traditional markets (souks) are a great place to find unique souvenirs. Don't be afraid to haggle, it's part of the fun!
6. Take a metro ride: Our metro system is super efficient and a great way to get around the city.
7. Be prepared for crowds: Dubai is a popular destination, so be prepared for crowds at popular attractions.
8. Learn some Arabic phrases: While most people speak English here, it's always appreciated when visitors make an effort to learn a few basic Arabic phrases like 'hello' (مرحبا - Marhaba), 'thank you' (شكرا - Shukraan), and 'goodbye' (مع السلامة - Ma'a al-salaama).
