Deep Dive Dubai โ Interesting Facts
At a jaw-dropping depth of 60 meters (about 197 feet), it has been certified as the โDeepest Pool for Divingโ by the Guinness World Records.
It is double the size of Polandโs Deep spot Pool which has remained the worldโs deepest pool till the launch of Deep Dive Dubai. Interestingly, Deep spot could hold this record only for a short period as it was opened just a few months before.
Featuring over 14 million litres of freshwater, Deep Dive Dubai is equivalent to about six Olympic size swimming pools. They further come with the most advanced water purification system.
Deep Dive Dubai was first officially unveiled on Sheikh Hamdanโs (the Crown Prince of Dubai) Instagram account.
This pool attraction is located within a massive oyster-like structure(spanning over 1,500 square meters) and this greatly reflects the nationโs pearl diving heritage.
The poolโs centrepiece highlight is its underwater city that has been meticulously designed to take after an abandoned sunken city enhanced by the cutting-edge sound and lighting system.
It is also home to the largest of its kind underwater film studio in the region.
To assure you of a comfortable dive, the poolโs temperature is maintained at a temperature of 30 degrees Celsius or 86 Fahrenheit
