This is where Hajj begins.

Before a pilgrim reaches Makkah, there is a sacred boundary they must cross called the Miqat. There are five Miqat stations surrounding Makkah, four established by the Prophet ﷺ and one by Umar (RA).

Every pilgrim must enter the state of Ihram before crossing the Miqat on their route. Crossing it without Ihram requires expiation.

If you’re flying into Jeddah, your plane will pass over or near the Miqat, which means you should already be in Ihram before that point not after landing.

The Miqat is not always marked by a gate or wall. Sometimes, it’s not visible at all. But spiritually, it changes everything. You leave behind your normal clothes, your status, your titles, and stand equal to every other pilgrim in two simple white cloths.

And then you say:
Labbayk Allāhumma Labbayk.
“Here I am, O Allah. Here I am.” 🤍

If you’re looking for the perfect dua to get invited to Umrah or Hajj… it doesn’t exist.

There’s no magic wording.
No shortcut phrase.
No “say this and you’ll go.”

Ask Allah sincerely in your own words. Then show Him you truly mean it.

Wake up for Tahajjud even when it’s difficult. Stay in sujood a little longer. Keep making dua even when nothing seems to change.

And don’t just wait for an invitation while doing nothing. Start saving. Make a plan. Cut unnecessary expenses.

Because people aren’t invited just because they made one emotional dua. They’re invited because they kept asking… and lived like they were serious about going. 🤍

Don’t let small mistakes ruin your Umrah. 🕋

In the moment, it’s easy to rush or just follow the crowd without knowing what’s right. But a little awareness goes a long way. Here are a few simple hacks that can make a big difference:

• Learn the basic steps of Umrah before you go, it keeps you calm and confident
• Save key du’as on your phone or carry a small card
• Stay hydrated and pace yourself, especially during Tawaf and Sa’i
• Don’t push to touch the Kaaba or Rukn al-Yamani, if it’s crowded, just keep moving
• Keep a small bag with essentials (water, slippers, tissues)

Umrah isn’t about doing everything perfectly. It’s about doing it with presence and sincerity.

Slow down, be mindful, and let every step bring you closer, not just physically, but spiritually. 🤍

Rukn al-Yamani is one of the four corners of the Kaaba, located on the side facing Yemen. It is the corner you pass just before reaching Hajr al-Aswad during each round of Tawaf.

This corner holds special significance because the Prophet ﷺ used to touch it during Tawaf, along with Hajr al-Aswad. If you are able to reach it, you should touch it with your hand. However, it should not be kissed or pointed at from a distance. If it’s crowded, simply continue walking without trying to force your way.

Rukn al-Yamani is believed to be on the original foundation of the Kaaba built by Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and Ismail (AS), which adds to its importance.

The space between Rukn al-Yamani and Hajr al-Aswad is also significant, as the Prophet ﷺ would recite the dua: “Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanah, wa fil-akhirati hasanah, wa qina ‘adhaban-nar.” It’s a moment in Tawaf to make a meaningful supplication.

There are narrations that mention touching Rukn al-Yamani and Hajr al-Aswad as a means of forgiveness, but it’s important to remember that this act is Sunnah, not obligatory.

Most importantly, never push, harm, or inconvenience others to reach it. Worship is not just in the action, but in the character you carry.

You are chosen by Allah to be here. 🤍

This moment isn’t just another step in your journey, it’s a فرصة to pause and truly reconnect. In a place where distractions fade and the heart feels more حاضر, you begin to understand what it means to turn back to Allah with sincerity.

As you stand here, let yourself slow down. Let your du’as come from a place of honesty, without overthinking or holding back. This is a space where your قلب can speak freely, where even the quietest whispers are heard.

Hold onto this feeling, because sometimes it’s these moments of stillness and surrender that leave the deepest impact on your soul. 🕋✨

Most people don’t realize this… the Kaaba actually has two doors, not one.

What you’re seeing here is the second door, usually hidden beneath the Kiswah. It only becomes visible when the covering is lifted during cleaning or maintenance.

Originally, when the Kaaba was built by Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and his son Ismail (AS), it had two doors at ground level — one for entry and one for exit, open to everyone.

Later, when the Quraysh rebuilt it before the prophethood of Muhammad ﷺ, they changed this design. One door was sealed, and the other was raised above ground to control access.

The Prophet ﷺ mentioned this when he said to Aisha (RA) that if her people were not so close to the time of ignorance, he would have rebuilt the Kaaba on the original foundations of Ibrahim, with two doors at ground level — one to enter and one to exit. (Bukhari & Muslim)

For a time, Abdullah ibn Zubayr (RA) restored this original design, but it was later changed back to what we see today.

So this “second door” isn’t just a hidden detail — it’s a part of the Kaaba’s original structure, preserved through history but no longer in use.

Moments like this, when the Kiswah is lifted, offer a rare glimpse into something most pilgrims never get to see.

When you submit to Allah, everything else begins to fall into place. 🤍

Not because your circumstances instantly change,
but because your قلب learns acceptance… and your soul finds steadiness in His decree.

You realise that control was never yours to begin with.
That what passed you was never meant for you,
and what is written will find its way to you no matter what.

In that surrender, there is a quiet strength.
A peace that doesn’t depend on outcomes, but on trust.

Because when your reliance is on Allah,
even uncertainty starts to feel like part of a greater plan. 🕋✨

What you’re looking at isn’t a “different” Kabah. It’s the same sacred structure, just without its outer covering in that section. The exposed stone shows the actual building beneath the Kiswah, reminding us that the covering is placed to honor and protect it, not define it.

Pray at the holiest place on Earth this year. 🕋🤍

Imagine standing before the Kaaba… hands raised, القلب حاضر, whispering the du’as you’ve carried for so long. In that moment, the noise fades, the دنيا feels distant, and it’s just you and Allah.

A place where tears fall without holding back.
Where every prayer feels closer to being answered.
Where hearts soften, and burdens begin to lift.

This isn’t just a trip you plan.
It’s a return to what truly matters.

If Allah has placed this desire in your heart, don’t ignore it.
Answer the call… and let your soul experience what it’s been missing. ✨
