The fourth round of the Goat Grabbing (Buzkashi) Tournament was held in the scenic Shewa Grasslands of Badakhshan Province, hosted by Badakhshan and organized by the National Buzkashi and Neza Bazi Federation.

Dozens of local and international riders participated in the competition, including horsemen from Tajikistan and the northeastern provinces of Afghanistan, competing in this traditional and highly celebrated sport.

The tournament featured thrilling and intense contests that attracted great excitement among spectators. Buzkashi remains one of Afghanistan’s most popular traditional sports, enjoyed by millions of enthusiasts across the country.

Thousands of tourists and spectators from Badakhshan and other provinces traveled to the Shewa Grasslands to witness the event.

Visitors not only enjoyed the spectacular Buzkashi matches but also took the opportunity to experience the breathtaking natural beauty of the Shewa region, one of Badakhshan’s most famous tourist destinations.
