Q. Do you have to make a deposit ahead of the tour?
A. We may ask for a deposit during our e-mail reservation confirmation process.
Q. Can you accommodate 'Walk-Up' customers, or must all reservations be made in advance?
A. Unfortunately, we can no longer accept 'Walk-Up' clients, as the Island Government requires that we show a reservation before picking up our guests at the cruise terminal.
Q. How many passengers can you comfortably accommodate in your vehicles at Bernard's Tours?
A. We always have a vehicle to comfortably accommodate the group available for the tour.
Q. What is your company's policy regarding tour cancellations?
A. A minimum of eight working days is required before cancellation. Of course, if your boat does not visit the island for any reason at all you will be fully refunded.
Q. What do you charge for children?
A. Children under two years are exempted from payment.
Q. Are there restaurants at Orient beach?
A. There are restaurants at the beach.
Q. How extreme is the nudity at Orient Beach?
A. Orient Beach is a public n**e beach. Parents are advised that extreme nudity may be possible at the Club Orient portion of the beach. The rest of the beach is limited to topless only, if at all..
Q. If we are uncomfortable with the nudity at Orient Beach is there any alternative beach for us to swim at?
A. If you are touring with kids, I may be able to offer Le Galion, located near Orient, as an option.
Q. Who will be your driver/tour guide?
A. Bernard's Tours is a business offering a professional and quality service to all our clients. Our guides are trained to deliver service guaranteed to satisfy our customers.
Q. Are the vans air conditioned?
A. All vans for Bernard's Tours are air conditioned.
Q. Are the buses equipped to handle handicap people with walkers or wheelchairs?
A. Yes. We are equipped to handle walkers/wheelchairs but not able to accommodate scooters.
Q. Are the vans equipped to hold a baby car seat?
A. Yes. We are equipped to hold a baby car seat but it is not by law to do so.
Q. Will we be picked up/dropped off at the same location?
A. Yes. The meeting place is about a three minute walk from the ship, located inside the yellow building at the information desk. For those that are tendered, the location will be in front of the Court House on Front Street..
Q. Are there any water sports at the beach?
A. You can rent various water sport equipment at Orient Beach, including jet skis, para-sailing, etc.
Q. Is there duty free shopping in Marigot and Phillipsburg?
A. Yes, we have the best duty free shopping in the Caribbean!
Q. Will our purchases be safe in the van when we are at the beach?
A. Yes
