Aren't people's back stories fascinating?

That's what I think. I love to drill down and discover what makes people tick. So I created The B Side podcast to do just that.

This business is all about connecting people and ideas. And one of the things I enjoy most is meeting the many fascinating people from all walks of life. Some of the most interesting stories come from getting to know our speakers - to understand how their journeys began, their key drivers and influences.

I created The B-Side to share some of these conversations with you. And I was thrilled when former All Blacks Captain Sean Fitzpatrick agreed to be my first guest. Since getting to know and to work with Sean in the last ten years, I have always admired his focus, loyalty and integrity. I really enjoyed this chat, which covered everything from All Blacks culture and values, to how businesses can approach leadership and teamwork.

What a morning - so much learning and dialogue, and great insights!

For those who missed it on October 17th, our collaborative breakfast meeting on a with GP Strategies Ltd. at the always beautiful Merrion Hotel was stimulating, thought-provoking and compelling.

Together, guests and Nigel Paine, Clare Dillon and Dr. Celine Mullins explored ways of creating work cultures that encourage, celebrate and reward learning, and who are keen to embed it in their organisation's DNA, particularly .

People were so interested in the topic that many stayed long after we'd imagined they would, just to chat to the speakers and to each other.
