Still riding the high from our night with of Jeska, the Team Leader of the Full Circle Expeditions Arctic Team, shared about her team’s upcoming 2026 Greenland ski traverse honoring the legacy of Matthew Henson, the first African American to reach the North Pole in 1909.
Hearing Jeska break down what it takes to plan an expedition to the North Pole felt like stepping right into the heart of the Arctic—cold winds, big dreams, and the kind of courage that makes you want to lace up your boots and chase something wild.
And this community showed up with so much heart. Together we raised $650 to support Jeska’s journey north. Every dollar, every conversation, every woman in that room added fuel to her expedition.
Nights like this remind us why we gather: to be inspired, to cheer each other on, and to remember that adventure grows bigger when we share it.
