The world admired her beauty.
But nobody saw the shadows.

In the imperial summer retreat of Bad Ischl, the legend of Sisi became eternal — somewhere between glamour, freedom and loneliness.

These light and shadow moments reminded me that every icon carries two stories:
the one the world sees
and the one hidden in silence.

Maybe that’s why the atmosphere of the Salzkammergut still feels so cinematic today.

Soft morning light.
Dark wood.
Quiet elegance.
And traces of a woman the world never truly understood.

In 1976, my parents created this beautiful vacationhome for our family — a place filled with warmth, memories, and love. Today, I feel incredibly grateful and proud to continue this legacy and share it with wonderful guests from all around the world.

Winterspaziergang mit Hund, Rodelpause und einkehren bei der Stroblerhütte.
Genau so fühlt sich ein guter Tag draußen an.

Wintertage im Rabennest. Hinauf zur Katrin Alm rodeln, oder eislaufen in Bad Ischl und danach Sauna. Dann Kaminfeuer ein gutes Buch ein lustiges Brettspiel und das Gefühl genau am richtigen Ort zu sein.

Winter days at the Rabennest. Up to the Katrin Alm sledding, or ice skating in town and afterwards a long sauna. Later the fireplace a good book a fun board game and the feeling of being exactly where you should be.
