30 YEARS OF HIMEX.
1996 — 2026.
Thirty years ago, Russell Brice founded Himalayan Experience.
What followed was not simply a company, but three decades of expeditions, friendships, difficult decisions, extraordinary moments — and countless days in the world’s highest mountains.
HIMEX was built by many people: guides, Sherpas, staff, partners, clients and friends. People who shared responsibility for one another in places where responsibility matters.
Today, 30 years later, the story continues.
Different people. Different times. The same respect for the mountains.
Experience over ego.
Responsibility over summits.
