Only 5 days left in Europe and the national archives are on the to-do list. Its been a very informative trip. I've enjoyed looking through all the records and hearing the stories of those that lived through World War 2. Its inspiring!!

Finishing up my Senior Capstone of the Documentary on the Maquis (the French Resistance) this summer. Leaving for Europe in 17 days. Last summer was a great start but with the tragedy of my Grandmother passing away while I was there, the completion of the project was postponed to this summer.

Just wanting to update you on the progress of the documentary. I now have a whole team. Things are moving forward on research grants and scholarships to finish it up!

Very sad to announce that my grandmother passed away yesterday morning at the age of 99.6 years old. I'll be continuing with my project but it will not have a video account from her.... hopefully we will still learn a lot of her history in other ways. She will be missed and we love her dearly.
