• OMP BATTERY’S 🔋•

A second IQ 5P Battery was added to this existing system, increasing the storage capacity to 10kWh, which should get this business through their overnight consumption without having to draw power from the grid. The battery’s are charged via a 25kW string inverter PV system we installed 7 years ago, showcasing the versatility of the storage suite, in that it’s not only compatible with a micro inverter PV set up. The ease of adding a 2nd battery is just another reason why we love installing this equipment, very installer friendly! 🔋☀️ 🔌 💡

• UNLEY SOLAR ☀️ •

Huge effort by the team to get this system up and running last week working through some tough conditions ! Hot weather, 35 degree roof pitch, fall protection, harnesses all stood in the way but we got the job done with a very pleasing result. We’re now looking forward to seeing what this premium 9.24kW and system will do for customers power bill for years to come, and we’re sure it will be positive! The system also includes the IQ System Controller so its battery ready with full black out protection, and how good do the all black panels look?! All the gear supplied & delivered on time as usual by the best in the biz 🙌🏽☀️ 🔌 💡 🔋

It’s been a busy start to the year, and one of the recent jobs our team has completed is this 3 phase 13.20kW system in the beautiful suburb of Glenelg East! Everyone is really looking forward to seeing some great results from this premium Enphase Australia & New Zealand and system, especially the positive effect it will have on the customers power bill for years to come! The system is also fitted with the CK2 module to allow for up to 3 Enphase 5kWh batteries to be installed in the future. • CONVERSION KIT 🔧 •

The conversation kit is sometimes a forgotten option when upgrading old switchboards, but one that works a treat in the right scenario! In this instance we removed the old ceramic fuses, disposed of the asbestos panel correctly, and installed the conversion kit to give us an 18 module DIN rail which could install the best switchgear going around on. Now all final subcircuits are protected by RCBO’s for ultimate peace of mind⚡️ 💡 🔌

• IQ BATTERY & CK2 🔋•

Recently, we were lucky enough to be chosen to take part in a Beta trial for , testing out the all new CK2 (Communication Kit 2), which provides an on grid battery solution, capable of coupling with new and existing solar systems. We installed an IQ 5P battery and CK2 on an existing 3 phase 12.32kW Enphase system for a very good customer of ours, and so to say we were happy with the end result is an understatement! The ease of installing the battery itself, along with the CK2 was very impressive, and when there is already an Enphase system in place it’s even more straight forward! The CK2 provides a more cost effective option than the IQ Controller for those wanting to benefit from battery storage when the grid is present, which is a great option to have available for the end user. We love everything that does, and being a part of their exclusive installer network means we may be a little biased, but this battery storage option is a game changer in our eyes 🔋☀️ 🔌 💡

• SERVICE & SWITCHBOARD UPGRADE 💡 🔌 •

It was a great team effort to complete this recent 3 phase power upgrade, including a new overhead service and external meter box installation. In this case we utilised the original meter board location to install a new distribution board and house all the safety switch and circuit breaker protection for all final sub circuits within the house. With everything going to plan on here was minimal disruption for the customer and power was out for as little time as possible. Looking forward to installing the solar system now! ⚡️ ☀️ 🔌

• SMOKE ALARM SAFETY 🔥•

The integrated relay base to suit Clipsal Trade 755PSMA4 Mains Powered Smoke Alarms is a great option that’s straight forward to install, and helps provide peace of mind to the hearing impaired that in the event of a fire in their home they will be alerted by way of a light or strobe turning on if the alarm is activated. In this situation a single light was connected, but you can connect multiple lights and even strobes as mentioned, if required.

• DRIVEWAY LIGHTING 💡 •

Job done! 🙌🏽 Previously this driveway was lit with only 2 very dim 240V bollard lights, which wasn’t providing the required light for our customer to safely navigate this tricky driveway in the dark (especially for the early morning coffee run!), so we came up with a plan and executed it pretty well I think! This area is now well lit, without being over the top, from dusk to dawn using high quality products. The Hunza single pole bollard lights and Aqualux spike spots never fail to disappoint and offer so much flexibility. We also installed a manual override switch if ever required 👌🏽
