The escalating conflict in the Middle East is already beginning to impact travel patterns globally, and Tourism Australia is urgently trying to understand how this may be affecting operators here in Australia.

They’ve released a short industry survey to gauge the early impacts, and it’s really important that our sector’s voice is heard.

Situations like this move quickly, and Tourism Australia needs rapid feedback from operators on the ground so they can respond appropriately.

Last Thursday, the Adventure Queensland Committee came together for our first meeting of 2026 — and what an exciting year ahead with collaboration, industry conversations and, of course, the Adventure Tourism Awards on the horizon.

A huge thank you to Roamer Brisbane for hosting the first networking night of the year. It was fantastic to see so many industry legends in one room connecting, sharing ideas and setting the tone for a big year ahead.
