“Our lovely sanctuary of Peace is just 1 hour East of Melbourne along the M1, (and then only a couple of kms off the M1). Situated in West Gippsland, a quiet and restful feast for the senses. Close by you can enjoy the alpine majesty of the Baw Baw Plateau, the Bunyip State Forest, the lush green valleys, to the rivers and streams… there is always something to do in West Gippsland for the curious. The river is a lovely spot to cool off on our warm summer days, or a mesmerising place to sit, watch, read, contemplate, draw or write. It is not uncommon to see an echidna, a variety of stunning birdlife, and on dusk, maybe a wombat family and for the very quiet, a family of 3 platypus can be spotted. On the farm we have a 'bevvie' of rescue animals, 7 alpacas, 1 sheep (who thinks he is an alpaca) 14 chooks, 2 goats, a cat, a dog - all rescue and all living their best life here. Longer stays are possible pending availability. All weather 4wd easy vehicle access. We have one space that can comfortably hold 3 caravans.”
