How is it Friday Already?!? Happy Friday COF! How are we all?? This next property, some of you may have stayed here already but I thought it was worth another mention because of the cow! (and it's amazing location)

Hello COF Followers. We have a couple of new Farmers have joined this week (SA and WA) so their information should be up in the next few weeks. And just to balance it, a couple of our long-standing Farmers have sold their properties, so off our COF map and so sad to see them go, but exciting for them to now be Travellers! I know you enjoy ALL our wonderful Farms in Australia, so keep checking on the website as they come on board.
The year is going fast (and it’s all horses birthday today I think?) and the flowers are starting to come out in WA after the rains here. It should be a good season for wildflowers! Drive safely if you are heading West, and here is a Friday smile…- A horse walks into a bar one day. The bartender says, "Hey." The horse says, "You read my mind!" . Cheers, Deb

Hi COF! How are we all this freezing Friday??
Showcasing a beautiful property in QLD, Sth Bingera this week. I bet you wouldn't need as many blankets there!
From the Farmer.. "Located 11 km south of Bundaberg Airport. Set on 12 acres away from the highway in a small hidden valley, this private rural setting is quiet, secluded and has lovely undulating views encompasing 3 dams set in bushland. Wildlife includes kangaroos, goannas and the odd echidna plus wide variety of birdlife."
And a traveler review ..."We loved it, we are fully self contained & besides the owners we had 12 acres to ourself. Views over dams, natures visitors & a short drive to shops, dump point & Bundy. Very reasonably priced, what more could you want"

Happy Friday COF Farmers, travelers and followers. I hope you're all keeping nice and warm this week. I'm not! I'm having my first holiday in 5 years in "sunny " Melbourne! all photos of my trip include me with icicles hanging off my nose so we won't share those!
We have a new farm on the map this week in lower WA, so please go and check that one out. No pics up yet so I've just included some photos of Mum and Dad's recent trip to Esperance. Ahhh sun.... I miss that!

Happy Friday COF! And Happy New Financial Year 😏. Mum Tells me with this rain; the farmers can start seeding. So also, Happy seeding to our farmers!
We have a couple of new farms this week but not yet on the map.
I thought I'd share this lovely review from the website for a beautiful spot on our map, in Blackall, QLD.
"Stayed 2 nights, you could easily stay a week. Caretaker Richard is amazing, very welcoming, a wealth of knowledge. Farm tours were fantastic. Fed baby goats, saw cattle, goats, camels, donkeys, bird life etc. Clean amenities, large camp kitchen for groups, inside TV area, fire pits. Water to sites, no power to sites. So peaceful and relaxing. Would definitely stay again."

Happy Friday COFers !! We hope you are all having a great week and are out enjoying our beautiful country! This week I'm shining a little light on a farm stay that has been with us for a while. Mostly because I love a farm dog photo almost as much as a hairy cow one 😍
"Offering the full paddock to plate experience. We are 5th generation cattle producers situated on 1700 acres on the outskirts of Meringandan, on the beautiful Darling Downs. We use regenerative farming practices on our farm and breed and grow a top quality line of cattle which supplies our accredited on-farm butcher shop which is open to the public. We also have sheep, working dogs, and other animals, an abundance of wildlife, scenic spots to camp, and a farmstay. Our property is a mix of rolling hills, creek flats, sandstone ridges, forest areas and cultivation. Something for everyone!"

Hello COF Followers. I was talking with a Farmer this week who was renewing her membership (for another 5 years!) and she was surprised that she hadn’t had many travellers from nearby Sydney come for a country break.
I know city folk get very busy on weekends after a working week, but I’d highly recommend planning an occassional Friday & Saturday overnight stay on a COF farm to de-stress! Wouldn’t you love to wake to a scene like that photo of Margaret & Steve’s place near Bathurst? Country folk love to talk about their land, produce and are great hosts. And if you are travelling with kids it’s a great education and an oportunity to put those devices away and enjoy OZ. And here’s a Friday smile for the kids: What do you get when you cross a robot and a tractor? A transfarmer 😊 Stay safe on those roads. Cheers Deb.

Was just going through recent renewals and found this beauty! In Marmor, QLD, it's another one for my bucket list. (and yours too I'm sure!) I think I'm gonna need a bigger bucket 😂
"We are a working cattle farm 30min South of Rockhampton only minutes off the Bruce Highway at Marmor Qld. We have large grassed powered & unpowered campsites with access to bore water. We offer a beautiful place to camp with amenities, communal campfire with free fire wood, free animal feeding & sulky rides for the kids each afternoon, fresh water dam to swim or to relax by on the deck, bush walks around the farm with panoramic views of the area. When you arrive you can book extra activities like Horse Riding, Motorbike/Ute Riding or a Sunset Chuckwagon Ride with cheese platter."
