I wrote the wildest story I could have ever imagined.

Ten years ago, someone asked me what I wanted to do with Gaia Soul Designs. I said: make it meaningful.
Be the first and best Spanish–Australian leather shoe brand in this country.
Stay true to myself, be kind to the planet, stay free, happy, and unique.

And you know what, I did it ☺️

I feel so proud, so happy, and endlessly grateful for the love and support of this beautiful community our customers, our friends, our family. You’ve walked this path with me, step by step.

This isn’t a goodbye, but the closing of a beautiful chapter, the chapter of our leather shoes (at least the ones we have today).

I made my dream come true. And now, it’s time to dream again and for you to enjoy new products and designs.

✨🌈 On November 2014 we did our first , today, exactly 11 years ago.

We’re closing a chapter, or perhaps better said, an era. I’ve poured my entire soul into this journey, cherishing every moment, the highs, the lows, and everything in between.

Gaia Soul is still alive and running strong, this is not a goodbye. Quite the opposite, we’re standing stronger and more inspired than ever, ready for what’s next.

Something new will bloom in 2026, but for now, we’ll be finishing and selling all our current stock to make space for the new project and collection.

I’ve received so many beautiful messages — thank you from the bottom of my heart. They made me feel deeply proud and grateful. Many of you asked if we’ll make more shoes… for now, the answer is no. It’s not in my current plans, but as you know, every business evolves. What I can say for sure: nothing will ever be like what we have now.

I’m keeping around six pairs for myself for the coming years 🤭 I guess that says it all. It makes me a little sad to see these babies go, they truly are (for me) the best handmade leather sandals and boots in the world.

But as a mama and a creator, it’s time to move forward and open space for something new.
