Scarborough was unreachable today due to flooding caused by recent torrential rain. Mecer wines (owned by Scarborough) was a great alternative.

Scarborough estate in the Hunter Valley is an amazing place to visit for both their wines and their view. Taste quality Chardonnay, look for kangaroos and take in the beautiful mountain and valley vistas.

What a stunning day in the Hunter Valley Vineyards. I actually think winter is the best time to come to the valley with less people, clear skies and warm fires. Pokolbin in winter is magic.

Kangaroos can often be seen at Scarborough estate. Today we saw large mob with perhaps as many as 15 individuals.
