Scenic Rim Travel is seeking two casual drivers to join our team as soon as possible!

You'll primarily be operating automatic 57-seat coaches and, at times, our manual 11-seat van, transporting a variety of passengers including sports teams, school groups, social clubs, and airport transfer clients.

We offer mostly daytilme shifts and prefer drivers with flexible availability.

To transport passengers, a Drivers Authority is required. We're happy to guide you through the application process and explain what's involved.

We'll even join you on some initial runs to ensure you feel confident and comfortable.

This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy driving and meet wonderful people from the Scenic Rim and beyond.

Please note, a licence to drive a heavy vehicle is required.

Scenic Rim Travel is seeking two casual drivers to join our team as soon as possible!

You'll primarily be operating automatic 57-seat coaches and, at times, our manual 11-seat van, transporting a variety of passengers including sports teams, school groups, social clubs, and airport transfer clients.

We offer mostly daytime shifts and prefer drivers with flexible availability. We have a position based in Beaudesert and another opportunity for a driver to work from South Maclean with one coach currently based there.

To transport passengers, a Drivers Authority is required. We're happy to guide you through the application process and explain what's involved.

We'll even join you on some initial runs to ensure you feel confident and comfortable.

This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy driving and meet wonderful people from the Scenic Rim and beyond.

Attention all for the Wynnum Trip tomorrow.

Unfortunately the driver has cancelled tonight, leaving us with no option to fill the run.

We are looking to reschedule this until either Saturday or Sunday after he have returned from Tasmania and will be in touch tomorrow with you all.

We have also sent text messages to those who are booked on the trip.

Please stay safe during this uncertain time.
This is something that many of us have never experienced before.
Remember to check in on your neighbours and friends. Your check means alot to someone in need.

Incase you may have missed it, please note the below update from Scenic Rim Council;

Council will be opening the Vonda Youngman Centre on Tamborine Mountain from 9.00am tomorrow - Friday 7 March 2025 - as a place of refuge.

On STAND BY to be opened if required are:
🏚️Beaudesert Baptist Church
🏚️Kooralbyn Community Centre
🏚️Harrisville hall
🏚️Tamborine Memorial Hall
🏚️Canungra School of Arts

These will be places of refuge ONLY.

👉The identified Places of Refuge will be a short-term facility designed to protect people during the predicted peak wind period of Tropical Cyclone Alfred.

👉Our facilities are NOT Cyclone rated, therefore locations may need to move or change at the last minute.

👉The locality will include only basic amenities and will not have beds, cooking facilities or catering.

👉Please bring non-perishable food and water if possible.

👉Make sure that you check current alerts and road conditions, plan your journey and do not drive through flood water.

👉Council will continue to monitor the situation and keep you informed.

👉The Facility will be locked down at trigger points, for example - strong winds. If you are at the facility when this happens, you will need to be prepared to stay until authorities advise that it is safe to leave.

👉As such, please bring what you think you will need to sustain yourself and your family for potentially a couple days. This includes essential items such as clothes, food, and any other items to make yourself comfortable.

Good Afternoon Everyone,

Recently there has been an issue with some people being able to get through to the business.

We have changed service providers as our last provider was not appropriate for a rural area resulting in connection issues.

Doing so, to keep the phone number I have had to jump through hoops being connected to a business and have only just been successful.

There has also unfortunately been a recent death close in the family which has been a big issue for me to organise.

The number is still the same and this evening have finally been changed to a new provider.

If you do not hear from me this evening or tomorrow morning, please do get back in touch via phone or message with your enquiry.
