The Blackwater International Coal Centre is a prominent landmark situated in the heart of the Central Highlands. Our Interpretive Centre showcases 20 interactive museum exhibits that explore the past, present and future of Coal mining. The Coal Centre Cafe located directly opposite the Museum offers a delicious range of Toasted Sandwiches, Raisin Toast, Fresh Scones and 'we reckon' the best Coffee in town! The Centre also provides well-facilitated training rooms suitable for various group sizes up to 100 people seated. We also offer catering packages from fresh lunches and tea break options.
