After a bit of work with the loader the Warraweena access track is open to 4WD’s including towing.

Now is your chance to see Warraweena at its best!

The creeks are no longer raging torrents. They are now looking magnificent running gently through the gorges.

For those who have visited Warraweena before you would be familiar with the bathtub sign post landmark. Well it’s no longer in its correct position but as you can see it has been found and it will be returned to rightful place.

I hope to have our access road open tomorrow.

The country was already looking amazing, after another 100mm I can’t wait to see it in a few weeks!

Another 43mm of rain fell in the last 24 hours. That’s a total of 99mm for this rain event. Sliding Rock Creek has got a big flow running this morning!

54 mm of rain in the last 24 hours and still raining! Creeks are running and all the dirt roads are closed.

We have had a cancellation in The Shearers Quarters. It is currently available for most of the school holidays, even on and around the middle weekend!

So if you are keen to explore The Flinders Ranges but don’t want to camp, here’s your chance. Get some friends and family together (sleeps up to 12).

And we are on it with The Sliding Rock Copper Mine.
After exploring the mine why not stay a couple of days and explore some more of Warraweena Station?
