Thank you to our Friends at Murray's Trivia For Good for hosting a trivia night raising money for FwD. A total of $1350 was raised all in support of victim-survivors of domestic and family violence. A huge thank you to everyone who joined! 💜

It’s with a heavy that that announce the death of Denise Gibbons, convenor of the Queensland Friends of Oxfam group.

I met Denise when I started organising trivia events for Oxfam more than 10 years ago.

She always maintained that she was terrible at trivia, but she always came along, always brought people along with her, and often donated her pickled walnuts.

Her work to promote peace and justice was endless and will be sorely missed.

We raised almost $3000 for Oxfam's work in Gaza at their trivia event on Friday.
