Australia's most famous Bear the koala bear.

Yes, I know, technically it’s not a bear. It’s a marsupial. But I grew up calling them koala bears, and I am probably not changing now.

One of Australia’s most iconic little characters, sleepy, fluffy, slightly grumpy looking, and somehow able to make sitting in a gum tree look like a full time job.

They can sleep for up to 20 hours a day, live almost entirely on eucalyptus leaves, and still manage to be one of the most recognisable animals on earth.

Only in Australia could something this cute look like it has just woken up from a big night and still become a national treasure.
