ent and I re-trained as a Travel Agent with Flight Centre and I realised that I had found a job doing something that I loved! After a few years working in stores in Toowoomba & Chapel Hill, I left to move to Travel Partners and am now running my own small business from my home office in Teneriffe, Brisbane. My cat Missy loves that I now work from home! She spends most of the day asleep mind you! If you’re a fellow cat lover who would like to speak to me about your next holiday please do get in touch. I’d advise that you book in my services well ahead of your planned departure if possible as I cap the number of clients I look after at any one time to ensure the best possible care for all.

I love animals and have been house/pet-sitting on and off since 1995; it all started when I looked after my flat-mates’ 2 rats and cat whilst she was on holiday, and then I had my boss’s rabbit over to stay with me for a couple of weeks!

I also used to be the Manager of a Petbarn store (2013/14) in Australia, so liaised with the RSPCA over our in-store cat adoption program, as well as looking after any stray cats and dogs that were handed in (until they could be reunited with their owners), and fostering for various organisations.

I’m a ‘home-body’ who loves to travel but I miss my cat when I’m away! I do remote work in the travel industry - my main business nowadays is software design for the industry. My cat and home-office are in Teneriffe, Queensland for the time being but by the end of the year I should be based in Europe (well, England until I sort out a digital nomad visa or similar).

I hoping to divide my time house-sitting between England and France, with London and Paris being ideal as it will simplify my travel. However, if I can get to you easily without a car I’m open to anywhere in either country.

As a solo woman in her mid-50’s who is quite particular I would be looking to house-sit comfortable and organised homes only, and ideally there’ll be a bathtub 🙏🏻
