The Season You Stop Waiting For Permission 🍷✨

Come closer for a second.

I may not know your name yet, but I know you. The woman who’s been quietly researching, deliberating, dreaming about a trip for weeks. Months. Maybe years.

The one who tells herself “next year,” then watches next year become this year, become next year again.

Here’s what I’ve learned, watching this play out time and again with women just like you: there is no perfect time. There’s only the moment you decide, I’m doing this.

Late 2026 is one of those moments, and this time, it has a destination.

Deep in the Southern Hemisphere, the sun is bright and the air is mild as spring slips into summer. The light shines golden over the landscape. Life is slower than in the big cities, something quieter, more intimate, where every interaction feels genuine, unhurried, warm.

We’ve chosen the place. The only question is whether it’s your moment.

If you:

→ Have been ‘thinking about travelling’ for longer than you’d admit out loud

→ Want to arrive somewhere and immediately feel met, not managed

→ Crave the artisan whose door isn’t on any map, the evening that was never on the itinerary but somehow was always meant to happen

→ Want the freedom of travelling solo and the company of women who simply get it, without ever choosing between the two

Then, this one’s for you.

Our journeys aren’t for everyone. They’re for the women who stopped asking ‘should I?’ and started asking ‘when?’

Comment ‘26’ or send a DM, and I’ll share the dates, the destination, and the very limited number of places.

This isn’t a someday dream.

It’s a late 2026, intimate, intentional gathering of women who’ve found their wings, and are ready to fly.

We don’t always know exactly what we are looking for.

We just know the feeling when we find it.

A place that slows us down in the best possible way. A conversation that surprises. A morning with nowhere to be and something beautiful to look at.

If something in that feels quietly true, you’re in the right place.

Share what travel gives you that day to day life doesn’t?👇

Everyone asked who she was going with.

Nobody thought to ask why she was glowing when she got back.

The women who travel alone didn’t run out of options. They discovered something far more interesting than waiting.

They found that when you travel entirely as yourself, the whole world opens differently. The morning gets quieter. The view becomes entirely yours.

And that changes a woman in ways she doesn’t quite have words for yet.

Solo travel chose them because they finally chose themselves.

And what surprises them every single time, is that alone doesn’t mean lonely. It means arriving exactly as you are, into a room full of women who made the exact same decision.

If this is you, or if this is the woman you’re becoming, I want to hear your story.

Where has solo travel taken you?
Or where has it been quietly calling you?

Share it below. These are the stories worth telling. 👇

The most common question I receive isn’t about the destination.

It’s about the people.

‘Who usually joins your journeys?’

The truth is, there isn’t one type of Wings Luxe traveller.

Some arrive knowing nobody.

Some have spent years putting careers, businesses, families, partners or everyone else’s needs first.

Some are celebrating a milestone.
Some are navigating a new chapter.
Some feel it’s time to say yes to themselves again.

What they have in common isn’t their age, profession or postcode.

It’s curiosity.

A love of good food, meaningful conversation and authentic experiences.

And a desire to travel in a way that feels effortless, enriching and deeply personal.

By the end of a journey, those who arrived as strangers are often exchanging numbers, making plans and talking about where we should travel next.

That’s the part no itinerary can capture.

And perhaps the most beautiful part of all.

Have you ever travelled solo with a group before?

I’d love to hear about your experience below.

There’s a country that stayed with me long before I ever thought to bring others there.

I first came across it quietly, while living and teaching abroad. It wasn’t the kind of place that announces itself. It revealed itself slowly.

A glass of wine poured by the person who grew it.
A table where you didn’t feel like a guest, but like you’d somehow been expected.
Landscapes that didn’t demand attention, yet held it completely.

It’s the kind of place where time loosens its grip a little.

Lately, I’ve been returning to that feeling and thoughtfully shaping something for a very small circle. Not a tour in the traditional sense, but a shared experience for those who spend much of their lives leading, deciding, holding things together… and are ready, even briefly, to set that down.

I’ll be hosting this Wings Luxe journey personally.

We’ll move through a pocket of the world where days are measured in harvests and long lunches. Where what matters isn’t what’s on an itinerary, but who you’re sitting with, and what unfolds while you’re there.

Not the version you’ll find in a guidebook.
The one that exists behind closed cellar doors, around tables that stretch into the afternoon, in conversations that only happen when you’re a little removed from your usual world.

Along the way, we’ll find ourselves:

~ Sitting at tables that feel more like someone’s home than a restaurant, sharing wines and dishes that carry the story of the land
~ Listening, learning, and exchanging stories with winemakers and makers whose work is deeply personal
~ Letting go of the need to organise, plan, or anticipate and simply being present within it all

I’ve created a short, reflective piece, less of a form, more of a gentle starting point.

It offers a glimpse into the spirit of this place, and perhaps, the version of yourself that naturally meets it there.

✨Find out what kind of traveller are you… and unveil the destination.✨

Something extraordinary is quietly unfolding in the wild beauty of the South Island.

Over the past week I’ve been travelling deep into the landscapes of Central Otago and beyond, following vineyard roads, stepping through the doors of historic homesteads, and sitting at tables where some of New Zealand’s most remarkable food and wine experiences are created.

There have been long conversations with winemakers, chefs and producers.
Private tastings in extraordinary places.
Meals that feel more like works of art than dinner.

And slowly… piece by piece… a luxury culinary, wine and cultural journey through the South Island is coming together.

Not the obvious places.
Not the typical itinerary.

This will be a highly curated small-group luxury travel experience designed for those who want to discover the South Island the way insiders do, through its vineyards, its chefs, its landscapes and the people who bring it all to life.

For now, I’ll keep the details under wraps.

But if New Zealand wine, extraordinary cuisine, breathtaking alpine scenery and unforgettable cultural experiences are your idea of the perfect journey…

You may want to keep watching this space.

It will be a celebration of wine, food, and the landscapes that inspire them.

We’ll be sharing it with a small group of very lucky travellers.

Follow along… and discover who will be joining us✨

From Sydney to the World: My Journey of Becoming 🌏

I was born under Australian skies, a Sydney girl with a restless spirit.

During my Bachelor of Education at a Sydney university, a lecturer invited my cohort to join a study trip to Portland Oregon, followed by a tour across the USA.

That trip lit the match. What began as academic curiosity became the start of a lifelong love affair with travel, culture, and connection.

From teaching in NSW - Sydney, the Central Coast and Mid-North Coast schools, to London’s classrooms, then to immersion in Italian whispers at Università per Stranieri di Perugia, I chased meaning, not milestones.

I moved to Wales and lived in the Rhondda Valley, teaching and laughing with locals who still welcome me back like family.

In my early 30’s I fell in love with a Kiwi on a night out in Sydney and followed my heart to Hamilton, New Zealand, proof that sometimes, geography is destiny in disguise.

Eventually, in Bali’s embrace, with my effervescent mum by my side, I sought soul-healing solace amid rice paddies and golden sunsets, after losing my extraordinary father.

There, between whispers of palm fronds, I poured my spirit into designing a women’s clothing line born of renewal and grace.

Each chapter taught me something about independence, artistry, and the tenderness of human connection.

Through all of it, one truth remained: I’ve never been able to stay still. The rhythm of solo travel, the joy of conversations between strangers, the quiet awe of discovering a place that changes you, it all became my oxygen.

And now, those years of exploration have evolved into something larger: curating extraordinary world tours for women and discerning private mixed groups who crave connection, authenticity, and effortless quiet luxury.

Each journey I design is stitched with the threads of those early experiences, slow travel, shared moments, soulful discovery.

Because this life? It isn’t just about seeing the world. It’s about becoming part of it.

✈️ For those who want more than an itinerary, who want to feel a place, and its’ beating heart, Wings Luxe world tours were created for you.

After Decades of Solo Travel, Here’s What I Know 💃

I’ve been travelling solo since my twenties.

In 2025, I travelled to:
Las Vegas, Portland, Malta, Todi, Venice, Morocco, Gran Canaria, and Wales.

Sometimes alone with my thoughts; sometimes meeting friends I’ve collected across continents; often finding myself in conversations with strangers who become part of my story.

Solo travel isn’t a phase I outgrew. It’s woven into who I am.

But somewhere along the way, something shifted.
I stopped wanting to keep the secret to myself.

Because here’s what decades of solo exploration have taught me: the women who are drawn to this kind of travel, the ones who value depth and connection over checklists, experiences that resonate over those that simply impress, are out there navigating it alone when they don’t have to be.

Not because they can’t manage. They’re exceptionally capable.
But because no one is creating what they actually want.

What I learned that they, and I, were craving:
•The sovereignty of solo travel, without the solo logistics.
•The spontaneity without the exhausting research.
•The safety of women who instinctively look out for one another.
•The camaraderie that forms when you’re sharing something extraordinary, fully in the moment, together.

The kind of travel where someone has secured the private access, knows the local artisan whose workshop isn’t on any map, and has the relationship with the chef who’ll create something special.

I started curating these bespoke journeys because I kept meeting women like us - in a Venetian bacaro, on a coastal path in Queensland, at a winery event.

They all said the same thing:
“I wish I’d known you were doing this. I would have come.”

Here’s what happens when women travel together intentionally;

Different conversations emerge. We enjoy experiences we might not undertake alone, not because we need permission, but because collective courage is its own kind of magic. We notice things together that subtly shift how we see. We celebrate each other’s moments without diminishing our own.

It’s not about holding hands through an experience.
It’s about being held by a group while remaining entirely yourself.

The women who join these journeys know their preferences, their rhythms, and what they won’t compromise on. They’re choosing connection from a place of strength, not need, and that changes everything.

There’s something amazing about being in the company of women who understand that luxury isn’t always about thread count. It’s about the seamless unfolding of days that feel both effortless and extraordinary. It’s about returning home changed, not just by the place, but by the women you experienced it with.

Solo travel will always be part of my rhythm.
But creating these exquisite journeys for women who are ready for this next expression of how they explore the world…that has been magical.
