Exciting news!

The AIF Abroad are returning to the Western Front in 2023.

We had intended to wind down and sell our assets in the UK, now the centenary years are over. Such assets include deactivated EU certified Lee Enfield SMLE MKIII* rifles. (Required to use in France and Belgium)

However, we have been invited back to participate in the Thiepval to Tyne Cot 100 mile march. More about this can be found here:

This time we will be doing a full tour of the Western Front after the march. This trip will be a fully imersive First World War Western Front experience.

The tour will be done in WW1 uniforms and kit. You can either supply your own or we can loan you the gear.

The tour will run 31 July to 10 August 2023.

You will visit all the major Australian battlefields and memorials in France and Belgium including FROMELLES, POZIÈRES AND MOUQUET FARM, BULLECOURT, MESSINES, MENIN ROAD, POLYGON WOOD, POELCAPPELLE, PASSCHENDAELE, DERNANCOURT, VILLERS-BRETONNEUX, HAZEBROUCK, LE HAMEL, AMIENS, CHUIGNES, MONT ST QUENTIN, PERONNE, BELLICOURT, BELLENGLISE and MONTBREHAIN.

We will visit the Sir John Monash Centre and lay a wreath at the Menin Gate.
