Birdsville Inside Track Closed Due to flooding until further notice.
Birdsville Track - Cooper Creek causeway Closed Closed due to flooding until further notice.
Birdsville Track - Cooper Creek to Marree Closed Marree to Etadunna is open to heavy vehicles. Etadunna to the Ferry Access Road turnoff is open to local 4WDs and heavy vehicles under exemption. Extreme caution is required at creek crossings, rough areas and severe wheel ruts.
Birdsville Track - Mungeranie to Cooper Creek Closed Closed due to deep scours and washouts. Open to local 4WD and essential traffic only under exemptions.
Birdsville Track - SA Border to Mungeranie Closed CLOSED. No public access due to significant flooding between Clifton Hills Station and Mungeranie. It is necessary to make alternative travel plans for the foreseeable future.
Brachina Gorge Road Closed Multiple creek crossings contain water, and sections of the road have been washed out. Significant flood damage is present at the Slippery Dip. A further road inspection is scheduled, with the next update expected on Monday 7 September.
Bunyeroo Valley Road Closed Multiple creek crossings contain water, and sections of the road have been washed out. A further road inspection is scheduled, with the next update expected on Monday 7 September.
Cooper Creek Ferry Crossing Access Closed Local 4WD only. Essential traffic only under exemptions.
Glass Gorge Road Closed Multiple large bog holes are present between Oratunga and Blinman, with severe scouring between Moolooloo and Parachilna Gorge Road. The road is currently impassable. Road works have commenced to repair and clean up the affected section.
Mt Hopeless Rd - Mt Hopeless to Balcanoona via Moolawatana Closed Road rough with ponded water and soft areas. Water is present in Arkaroola, Paralana and Hamilton Creeks. Hamilton and Mulligans Creeks contain heavy silt, sand and debris. Open to local 4WD traffic only between Balcanoona and Moolawatana.
Mulgaria Rd - Farina to Mulgaria via Witchelina Closed Creek crossing approaches are rutted and softened by water damage, with silt, sand, rock, and debris limiting safe access. Reassess Monday 7 August.
Riecks Rd - Merty Merty to Cameron Corner Closed Road is impassable to all vehicles due to severe washouts and scouring through sandhills.
Strzelecki Track - Della/Dullingari Rd junction to Moomba Closed No access west towards Moomba (Della Rd) due to flooding and severe damage. No services at Moomba. It is necessary to make alternative travel plans for the foreseeable future.
Arckaringa Rd - Mt Barry to Arckaringa 4WD Only Open to 4WD including towing. Caution at creek crossings and soft sections. Sections of road have ponded water, follow tracks around them.
Evelyn Downs Rd - Mt Barry to Painted Desert Road junction 4WD Only Caution at ponded water and soft sections.
Moralana Gorge Road 4WD Only High clearance 4WD only. Extreme caution at creek crossings, scours and flagged areas. Follow wheel tracks through creek beds where sections of road are missing. Single-lane access across the concrete causeway due to a fallen tree trunk.
Mt Dare Rd - Hamilton Station to Oodnadatta 4WD Only Road open to 4WD including towing. Several creek crossings were flooded. Muddy sections are present approaching the Oodnadatta Track intersection. Note: bypass at Fogertys claypan approximately 40 km from Oodnadatta Track intersection.
Mt Dare Rd - Mt Dare to Hamilton Station 4WD Only Open to 4WD including towing. Exercise caution at soft sections and ponded water.
North Flinders Rd - Tea Tree to Wirrealpa Rd 4WD Only High clearance 4WD vehicles, including those towing, are recommended. Access is suitable for single semi-trailers only. Exercise extreme caution at Bandioota Creek, where heavy silt deposits may affect traction and vehicle stability.
North Flinders Rd - Wirrealpa Rd to Blinman 4WD Only High clearance 4WD vehicles including are recommended. Slow down at all creek crossings and floodways due to silt deposits and some ponded water. Caution at wheel ruts and scours.
Painted Desert Road 4WD Only Open to 4WD including towing. Slow down at all creek crossings. Some crossings have ponded water and rough sections.
Skull Camp Tanks Rd - Skull Tanks to Pondana Ruins via Kangaroo Well 4WD Only Caution at ponded water and soft areas.
Wirrealpa Rd - Wirrealpa to Oraparinna 4WD Only High clearance 4WD vehicles, including towing are recommended. Slow down at all creek crossings and floodways. Exercise caution in soft and muddy areas and watch for wheel ruts and scours.
Yardea Rd - Yardea Station to Minnipa 4WD Only Use caution at ponded water and soft sections. Large washout 22 km from the Yardea Station end. No towing. Slow down at floodways and creek crossings due to silt build-up.
Adventure Way 4WD/HV Only Use caution on damaged seal areas. Exercise caution at road edges, including drop-offs and shoulders.
Arkaroola Rd - Balcanoona to Arkaroola 4WD/HV Only High clearance 4WD vehicles, including those towing, are recommended. Caution at all creek crossings. Sections have ponded water and soft areas. Ooccaboolina Creek has a rocky creek bed.

Gawler Ranges Rd - Hiltaba Rd to Wirrulla Warnings Road surface is dry. Caution at the clay section for wheel ruts.
Gawler Ranges Rd - Kingoonya to Skull Camp Tanks Rd Warnings Caution at scours, and flags for wombat holes.
Gawler Ranges Rd - Skull Camp Tanks Rd to Hiltaba Rd Warnings Road surface is dry. Slow down at creek crossings and scouring.
Gosses Rd - Kingooya to Stuart Highway Warnings Road surface is dry, corrugated and rough. Use caution at grid approaches.

The Outback Hwy - Lyndhurst to Marree Warnings Exercise caution due to numerous potholes, scouring, and sections of damaged or missing seal. Speed restrictions are in place.

Yorkeys Crossing Rd (Port Augusta Heavy Vehicle Bypass) Warnings Caution at ponded water and wheel rutted sections.
