🌏 Earth Day – April 22

The bush takes care of itself - until we step in. From there, it’s on us to make sure we’re not taking more than we give.

For us, our travel on the road has shown us just how incredible (and fragile) our environment really is. It’s the quiet camps, the untouched bush and beaches, and the wild landscapes that make this lifestyle so special.

Our actions don't necessarily need to be big - just be mindful:
✔️ Pack it in, pack it out
✔️ Stick to tracks
✔️ Respect wildlife
✔️ Leave places better than you found them

Let’s protect it, so the next adventure is just as good as the last.

A little mum & daughter escape these school holidays with some great friends in the Vic High Country 🤍

We donned the boots, set up camp at Tawonga Huts, tackled the climb up Mt Jaithmathang, and braved the crisp alpine air — the kind that makes every tea and hot chocolate taste so much better. ☕❄️

Between the cold mornings, stunning views, and plenty of laughs around camp, it was great to share these simple moments with great company. These memories will stick for a long time.

I keep saying I’d love to spend a wet season in the Kimberley 🌧️

Yes - there’s the heavy rain, cyclones, humidity, and the real possibility of being cut off by floodwaters for months, but the trade-off is hard to ignore. Imagine being able to explore places like this just before the season kicks in or as things begin to open up again ✨

Those moments, when access allows and the landscapes are at their most alive, would make it all worth it 🌿

Incredible footage of floodwaters at Birdsville 🌧️. Like many outback regions impacted by recent flooding, this country will soon respond, transforming into a vibrant green landscape over the coming months 🌱✨

Given the conditions, it’s no surprise that the Big Red Bash has been cancelled.

Just got back from a bushwalk in the Vic High Country and ended up following sections of the Barkly River Jeep Track… and wow 😳

This track has a serious 4wd reputation - and after seeing it on foot, it’s easy to understand why. Deep ruts, steep switchbacks, big rock steps and washed-out sections that would test even the most capable rigs and experienced drivers 🚙

Honestly… walking it was enough for me. Not sure we’ve got the go**ds to ever drive it 😂😅
