Just a few words....
As we near the end of our Boxing Day Sale at Patchwork with Busyfingers, I want to take a moment to reflect and share just how much your support means to me. Over the past few weeks, I’ve expressed my gratitude for the overwhelming response we’ve received, but today, I’d like to get a little more personal.
This little business of mine started 29 years ago on my kitchen bench with $2000 and a heart full of hope. What it’s grown into today is beyond anything I could have imagined. It’s not just a business, it’s a beautiful community of incredible crafters who have trusted me, supported me, and allowed me to share my love for quilting and creativity.
The quilting industry has given me more than I ever dreamed. It’s brought me lifelong friends, opportunities to travel the world, and the privilege to teach folks from around the world, from those who hadn’t threaded a needle to well-respected designers and business owners in the industry. I’ve even found myself completely starstruck by the kindness and recognition I’ve received from quilting celebrities I once thought would never even know my name.
This business has also allowed me to support my community, providing jobs for many talented people over the years. It’s given me a profound sense of achievement and purpose. But I’d be lying if I said it’s always been easy. Some days are still tough, but every challenge has been worth it.
I know I’ve said it many times already, but thank you. Truly, thank you. Your lovely messages, heartfelt cards, and incredible support, both through your purchases and online interactions mean more to me than words can express. This journey wouldn’t have been possible without you, and it’s a privilege to be part of your creative lives.
As this sale comes to an end, I hope you know that every order, every kind word, and every moment of your time spent with Patchwork with Busyfingers is deeply appreciated. Here’s to all the incredible projects we’ll create together in 2025 and beyond.
