To our incredible volunteers — thank you 💙💙
The Royal Geelong Show is proudly volunteer-driven, and has been for more than 170 years.
So much of what makes the Show happen happens long before the gates open. Throughout the year, our volunteers give up their days, nights and weekends to maintain the grounds, organise competitions, prepare pavilions, help exhibitors, set up events and sort out the many, many jobs that most people never see.
They don’t do it for pay. They do it because they care about the Show, the community, and keeping this tradition going for the next generation.
This National Volunteers Week, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to every person who gives their time, energy and care to the Royal Geelong Show.
