Being the largest regional show in the state the ROYAL GEELONG SHOW offers a great range of Agricultural displays and activities for all the family to experience. There are great spectator competitions and displays regularly taking place on the main arena and other locations on the grounds over the course of the weekend.

📣 WE HAVE EXCITING NEWS!

For the first time ever, the AWPA Victorian Whipcracking Championships are coming to the Royal Geelong Show on Friday 16 October!

Some of Australia’s finest whipcrackers will be heading to Geelong to compete for state honours, including the prestigious Australian Bullock Whip Championship.

The event will also be a qualifier for the 2027 Australian Whipcracking Championships, so expect some seriously impressive skill, speed and precision!

Want to have a go?
There’ll also be a Novice Competition, with entries available on the day and some fantastic prizes up for grabs.

The last of the BK Carving sculptures from the Royal Geelong Show is now up for auction on eBay! 🦔🧡

This stunning hand-carved echidna sculpture was created from solid hardwood by BK Carving and displayed at the 2025 Royal Geelong Show.

It’s a substantial, one-of-a-kind piece with incredible detail and character, perfect for a garden, rural property, business, winery or anyone who loves Australian wildlife and timber art.

This is the final BK Carving sculpture from the Show collection to be listed.

The Geelong & Surfcoast Song Contest 2026 is celebrating the incredible original music and emerging talent from across our region — and now it’s time to have your say!

Listen to the entries and vote for your favourite song. The five artists with the most public votes will join five finalists selected by the Royal Geelong Show team.

The Top 10 finalists will perform live and acoustically at the Royal Geelong Show on Sunday 18 October, in front of a live audience and our judging panel.

Have a listen, discover some brilliant local artists and vote for the song you would love to see performed on the Royal Geelong Show stage!
