Dawn at Amarna - Kicking off day 2 of Kando and despite the significant rain, lots of us boarded an early bus to see sunrise at James Turrells Amarna at MONA - Museum of Old and New Art . Of course the sun struggled to make an appearance but we had lots of fun with the reflections. The Vaudeville of Love ❤️ an epic start to Sony Kando Trip in the oldest still operating theatre in Australia. An amazing series of sets, scenes and performers all putting on a beautifully curated show perfect to dust off the cobwebs of the long day. So much fun on our first outing, with so much more planned for the days ahead…. Feel truly blessed to be a part of this incredible community of creators❤️❤️🙏🙏

Strolling through Darling Harbour and Barangaroo, I couldn’t resist capturing a few images of the stunning architecture on display while heading to a long-overdue catch-up with a friend.
It’s incredible to reflect on how much this area has transformed over the last two decades. The modern streetscapes, architectural designs, and urban features truly showcase the beauty of Sydney’s evolving cityscape. I definitely need to spend more time exploring this dynamic part of the city.

Let's talk about THAT Sunset!!
Arriving at Lincolns Rock with tour guest in tow, I could see the beams of sunlight bursting from beneath a fast moving cloud cap, as the sun did its best to outrun it. I told my guest we were in for a stunning display. The unique geography and altitude of this place making for some exciting weather at the best of times, and this was to be no exception. As the sun set, continuing to cast its warming healing glow into the valley floor below until the colours changed to that deep orange, golden hour to sunset, beating away the cloud as it put on a show for all to see.

I have recently had to question why I am staying in the Blue Mountains, but sights like this provide an answer in a timely way.

Look at that Smile 😁 Finding Leopard Seals hauled out basking in the sunshine on a snowy shoreline is an exciting encounter, especially when they show you that mouth full of teeth perfect for grabbing seabirds and penguins. Evidence of why they are considered such veracious predators 🦭

The Snowy Sheathbill is a bird you commonly see around Antarctica. Known for their diet of Penguin p**p, they take on the rather less flattering moniker, Snowy S**tbill. But I learned from some of our bird experts and monitors aboard the Ocean Endeavour that their own p**p, containing matter from possibly many different penguin colonies, is prized in helping track the devastating Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza.

These two beautiful birds were sat atop Damoy Hut on a very snowy day and I loved how they faded into the surrounding white out.
