First time EVER on skis and what better place to learn than Cardrona Ski Resort & The Remarkables honestly the patience and kindness of Ash my ski instructor was next level, that man is a Saint. ⛷️🏔️

A few tumbles, lots of laughs, some questionable skiing and stopping techniques but I’m proud to say I passed ski school.

We were all set to hit the big slopes and do our first proper Green run but Mother Nature had other ideas and closed the chairlifts due to high winds so it wasn’t to be.

Bring on Lake Louise at Christmas as I now feel confident to grab a pair of ski’s and hit the slopes. ❄️⛷️

Massive thanks to Air New Zealand and Destination Queenstown for this opportunity.

Wow, such an amazing first 24 hours in Queenstown starting with a cultural Māori welcome by Joe ( Jason Momoa’s “cousin”), dinner and sight inspection at the incredible Eichardts Hotel, today then started with a visit to The Dreamery, the Time Tripper and KJet experience, networking at Soda, a frightful excursion to Fear Factory, many laughs with a fantastic group of agents and it’s only just getting started.

A fabulous few days spent in Hobart with my TravelManagers crew at our annual conference.

I always get so much from our conference, from conversations with my peers, the trade show with my supplier partners, or the various evening functions, it really was a conference built around “Connection”.

I’m looking forward to getting back in the office this week, inspired, motivated and ready to book some amazing adventures before heading off the following week for a cheeky trip.

Sometimes it’s the small things. I assisted clients with a Travel Insurance claim and they generously dropped over some choccies.
For me, assisting with a claim is straightforward and that’s part of the service you get booking with a Personal Travel Manager.

If you are a dual citizen of Australia and an EU country, now is the time to prepare for some important changes coming in Q4.

The European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS) is due to be implemented toward the end of 2026. Once implemented, travellers visiting any of the 30 participating European countries visa-free will need to get an ETIAS travel authorisation. The ETIAS is different to the European Entry/Exit System (EES).

Dual citizens of participating European countries or Ireland will not be eligible for an ETIAS travel authorisation. If you’re a dual citizen, once the system is implemented you will not be able to enter any participating countries using your Australian passport. You will have to enter using the passport from your other country of citizenship.

If you don’t have a passport from your other country of citizenship, apply for one soon. Application wait times in some countries can be very long.
