The National Construction Code (NCC) is updated on a 3 year cycle, with amendments to enhance building safety, health, amenity, and sustainability.
This is why sometimes a method of construction may be compliant one year… then non-compliant the next! Meaning you can’t always do what you neighbour was allowed to do!
As a registered building practitioner, it is our responsibility to keep up to date with changes in our industry to ensure the compliance of your project so that you can obtain the relevant permits.
If you’d like to discuss a project with us, please book a time to have a conversation via the links on our website.
Today 1 May is the day Victoria officially adopts the National Construction Code 2025.
This means all building and plumbing practitioners must comply with the Victorian variations of the new building code – including new lead-free plumbing product requirements.
