This is what it's about! I've met Craig and he was engaging and genuine. We need more of this in the world. People like Craig, myself and others want to help, want to make a difference. Help us to do it.
I’m not entirely sure how to start this… but I do know this — I’m incredibly grateful. 🌱
I feel very lucky to be in the position I’m in. To share what I’ve learned over a lifetime in the garden… and to know that it’s actually making a difference in people’s lives.
That’s not something I take lightly.
It’s not a burden — far from it. It’s what gets me out of bed each day. It’s like emotional oxygen knowing that somewhere, someone reads or hears something I share… and it helps them do things differently.
Maybe it saves them time.
Maybe it saves them money.
Maybe it saves them frustration.
And in many cases — it helps improve their health.
That connection between healthy soil and healthy people is real. And for a long time, we’ve missed it.
Over the weekend, I had the privilege of spending time in Shepparton and Kyabram — and I just want to say a heartfelt thank you.
To everyone who came along, shared your stories, asked questions, and supported the events — it was wonderful to meet you.
And a special thanks to Craig Turner and Kate from Shepparton Plant Farm, and Sue from Fab Flowers Florist and Nursery in Kyabram for making it all happen.
The conversations, the feedback, the energy — it reinforces just how important this work is.
Because this isn’t just about gardening.
It’s about taking back control of what we grow, how it’s grown, and the quality of the food we put on our plates.
It’s about growing nutrient-dense food in living soil — right where you are.
And I’ll keep doing the work — learning, studying, and sharing — to make sure what I pass on is as current and as useful as possible.
So thank you. Truly.
