It involves pursuing what brings meaning and authenticity. I work with Clients to provide clarity and direction, to prioritise what is important, to assist with sett

ing goals, setting and maintaining boundaries, and keeping them on track to achieve what they set out for. Guiding principles. The be. guiding principles form the foundation of all my coaching partnerships. They are based on my own experiences, feedback from my Clients, from literature I have studied, and knowledge gained from many sources and inspirational people. Self-Care: nourishing yourself enables life to flow better
Learning: hurdles, setbacks, mistakes, failures all bring insight and growth
Choice: we always have a choice, especially the choice on how to respond
Wisdom: by reflecting on experiences and our progress comes true insight
Small Steps: impossible is unlikely when you give your best, take action
Support: don’t be afraid to speak up, it's important to ask for, and accept help
Passion: there’s a spark within us all, having a passion in life gives you purpose
Enjoyment: life doesn’t have to be a struggle, have some fun along the way
Accountability: be responsible for your life and the energy you project and attract
Courage: be brave, take steps to conquer your fears and vulnerabilities.

And here we are in December. How’s the ride of 2024 gone for you? Wild, calm, treacherous, a novelty, big wins, small pivots, on track, off track or in the right direction? Some, or all of it?

It’s been a bit of a ‘everything, everywhere, all at once’ over here. I’ve found myself repeating this statement, mantra-like, with many clients as we’ve coaxed and seduced our ways of working to evolve in this all-encompassing way. Have you felt it too? Holding intensity, paradox, complexity and simplicity all at once, all whilst getting an immense amount of sh*t done. Highly challenging and causing friction at times. Yet wildly exciting to succumb and roll with the waves of energy.

Alas, it is the time of year I suggest you take stock. Or prepare yourself to do so in early January when you’ve got more free space. I have easy and tangible tips for you in this month’s Experiment a little... newsletter. To reflect on this past year so you can set yourself up for an incredible 2025. And it’s all to warm up for conjuring in a new year, new cycle and big ambitions. So lean in and reflect, release and dream.

I’ve been sitting with the topic of ‘friendship’ for a couple of months, wrestling in my own mind on where it sits in the leadership sphere. Having strong and enduring friendships is so important in my life and experiences at work. Yet friendship as a leader can be a tricky tightrope to navigate.

And that’s a wrap! Last Thursday night was a wonderful culmination of a big year with . My first as part of the coaching Faculty alongside and Oscar Trimboli.

The double celebrations were in honour of the 10 years TMA has operated in Australia, graduating 300 Scholars! And the graduation of the 2024 class, of which I was lucky enough to be paired with Alex Piercy to coach. And what an amazing human I got to have this experience with in the past 9 months, Alex - you’re one of the brightest and most progressive marketers I’ve had the pleasure to work with, you’re going to have such an influence on the work that Coles will start to implement for their customers. You can hear the call and you’re listening, helping them to adapt and really move the needle of the experience for all people. I can’t wait to see what you’re able to achieve.

None of this would be possible without the vision of , bravo on such an achievement for a leadership program like no other. The organisation and implementation of the amazing program from Emma Beaumont and in Australia (and never forgotten in the early days!).

And a call out to the amazing Coaching faculty of 30 inspirational Exec Coaches, who also side mentors and other amazing speakers all gift their time FOR FREE! Clare Robinson and I got to host a beautiful lunch with some of our coaches before we headed away to the graduation of the 2024 cohort, and the 10 year anniversary.

And here is to my sparkly monument not gathering dust on a shelf, but being part of my son’s Lego play, as I discovered on Saturday morning as he claimed it for his own.

Are you familiar with the nasty gang of five?

The parts who hinder your growth… attempting to protect you from what you fear.

The critic. The perfectionist. The doubt. The imposter. The guilt.

When you embrace these parts you can have a different relationship with them. And completely transform the energy form they create. A shift in your thoughts, feelings and how you act. What I call an evolution. A liberation from their tight grip.

I’ve helped many clients recalibrate their relationship with their many parts to shift to them being helpful and energising. Using them as a power source for god not evil in their lives. And how they lead others.

Change is never easy but one step towards more easeful growth is embracing ALL the parts of you.

Values are the orientation of how you live your life, by default or design.

Be the compass, and orientate yourself to take steps to lead your life your way. No client I work with gets out of working with me on their values. They are critical to your happiness, fulfilment and success.

The seasons and nature overall are such a great metaphor for change and the cycles of growth you move through.

The biggest lesson the seasons can teach us is the nature of impermanence. That things are constantly changing.

Spring here in Australia now can be used to remerge and offer a new beginning. To look for the opportunity to make a change. To have faith in yourself, start something fresh, a new chapter.

Movement is one of the best ways shift something lying dormant or stagnating within.

Small stretches through out the day, a twirl at your desk, standing up and down a few times, walking around the block for fresh air. All ways to move through out the day and shift perspective whilst working.

Just a 10 minute walk gets both hemispheres of the brain working simultaneously, the best way to engage both logical and creative sides of the brain.
