RTPS inspections now offers thermal leak detection for shower bases and balconies using the latest technology.

This will enable you to pinpoint where water leaks and damage may be occurring.

This service is invaluable if your house is still under warranty for pursuing repairs through your builder.

Hi all, today I was blown away by one of my clients who offered my family the full use of his home because we still have no power.
The ironic part of this is his house was damaged due to Thursday nights storm.
This act of kindness gives me faith in our Australian society in such challenging times.
I have not mentioned names but what a champion.

All inspections are important for their own specific reasons.

Pre pour inspections are the first of the build and crucial for a solid foundation.

A few of the items we look for are -
*waffle pod placement
*crack control bars
*deepened footings
*widened ribs
*additional N12/16 bars over piers
*waffle pod removal to create a concrete mass over piers for localised strength

Engineering for each slab is unique to the soil type and foundation.

We have a brief window of opportunity to complete this inspection to ensure it meets the engineering drawings.

Did you know that there is an Australian Standard for painting and decorating?
It is also a requirement that wet area doors be sealed top and bottom to prevent moisture damaging the door yet these are often overlooked.
