"Meeting my new LGBT+ besties in India. 🫶🏼🌈 When the G Adventures team reached out and invited me on this incredible trip, I expected to probably be the only q***r person in the group. That’s because, in this industry, this is usually the case - invite the gay travel influencer to tick a box and then pat ourselves on the back for a job very well done. But this time, I couldn’t have been more wrong. Meeting Joe Polito and Myles Sexton on the first day immediately told me that this trip was going to be different. And as it turns out, half the group ended up identifying as LGBT+. If I ever had doubts about group travel, those doubts are now gone, because it was truly one of the most enriching and memorable trips I’ve ever been on. It was so much fun travelling with such a wonderfully diverse group of people, I made memories that will stay with me forever, and now I already desperately want to do another. Huge thanks to the whole team at G Adventures, as an often marginalised voice in the travel community, you made me feel more included than ever. 🌍🏳️‍🌈"

Have you heard of coolcations? ❄️✈️

As summer temperatures soar, more travellers are trading the heat of Greece, Spain, and Italy for the refreshing chill of destinations like Norway, Iceland, and Finland. Whether it's to escape the crowds or avoid extreme weather, the coolcation trend is gaining serious momentum.

Changing the world through travel: that’s been our goal since 1990. Sure, call us dreamers (wouldn’t be the first time), but that idea has been at the heart of everything we’ve ever done and has helped us grow into one of the biggest adventure travel companies on the planet. *woot woot* But, to us, being big is meaningless if it comes at the expense of making someone else feel small. You know what… let’s drop the metaphors and get straight to the point: G Adventures is a social enterprise as much as we are a small group travel company. We’ve been pioneers of community tourism since the day we first headed out into the world 30 years ago. What does that mean? That our tours, created by building meaningful relationships with local communities, directly benefit the people and places we visit. We’ve always believed travel can help local communities, Indigenous peoples, women, youth — anyone who has traditionally been marginalized or undervalued. Because there's incredible power in being part of something bigger than yourself. Today, our definition of community tourism means that the communities we impact ripples far beyond our destinations. To us, it includes our employees, supplier and agent partners, small business owners, customers, social followers, and travellers just like you. Because when we all come together, we have the power to realize the full potential of our global community. When you travel with us, you aren’t traveller #251,468. We think of you as our friend, a part of and contributor to our community, enjoying enriching experiences that give back and help make the world better. After all, you’re not only helping communities abroad, the renewed perspective you bring home can help change your own community as well. So the question is: do you want to change people’s lives through travel, while having the time of your life? If the answer is yes, well... Our world deserves more you.
