We had the family and settled into a long lunch.
Some of our party had been here before but the menu had changed so it was like the first time for us all.
What a treat!! We haven't had anything like this before and can't wait to go back again. The food was amazing and the service was a vibe!

This one has been on the list for a while, and we were thrilled that we could get a table for our party.
We love Japanese food, and this is a modern / Australian influence, with a touch of grill smoke. Delicious!!
Couple of spicy items landed on the table, but most of us enjoyed them. Vibes are high, food was sensational, and we can't wait to get back there.

We are having a family gathering weekend in the city, and it's all around food. Starting with Gimlet.
We selected the set menu and were not disappointed.
We love a good bread and butter, and this one was devine.
Some of the party have dietary requirements, and the adjustments made were perfect, and we barely noticed the difference.
Of course, we couldn't have this meal without enjoying a Gin Gimlet cocktail!

With one night in Canberra, we made a great decision to book in at Koto Dining.
What a treat!! Japanese fine dining in the most devine location, with the Zen inspired gardens, gentle lighting and moody colours, it was an experience for the senses.
Beautiful fresh seafood, wagu tacos and delicious Desserts this is up in the top 10 for us.

This week we had to say goodbye to our little best friend Talulah 😢

It was unnexpected and has broken our hearts. Lulu loved going to the farm, chasing sheep, riding on the motorbikes or being in the tractor.
She enjoyed swimming in the damn, digging up old bones and sneaking off to the kitchen to find a snack to enjoy.
Her big personality is something we miss everyday ❤️

Omg! We LOVE Japanese. We walked past this place in the morning and thought we would try our luck for dinner.
We got a late booking, but we were OK with that. Soooo good!!

The ramen was amazing! The fresh seafood was stunning! The soba noodle salad was elite! But what really caught our eye was the light fixtures (slide to the end to check them out!)
It's a little space full of character. We wish we had longer in town to go back again.

We will stop in again if we head back that way 😍

When attending trade school I was training with a chef from here and heard all about it. While that chef has since moved on, we decided to call into Wheelers on our coastal trip and enjoy the food we had heard all about.

Thankfully there was a table available and we could sit in the deck in the rain and enjoy the views.

In an old converted service station you will find the American Style BBQ house.
The Servo serve the drinks and The Pit handle the food.
We love a Smoked meat and this place delivers.
Set on the corner overlooking the water, the amount of people who dined here shows that it is the place to be.
We weren't expecting to find something like this in a sleepy seaside town.

Also tried for lunch and it too was a stand out!

📍 Soda Fish - Lakes Entrance, Vic.

is located on the Marina right over the water. It's a pretty cool venue, high on stilts, in the water over looking the both the town and the water.

We wandered past and checked out the menu and decided to make a booking.
Most of you know we don't mind the odd Fish Finger Sandwhich here. Well, Soda Fish did the grown-up version! They are worth going back just for them!

Something about eating fresh fish dishes right on the water ❤️
