We're pleased to announce that we're looking for an experienced and motivated travel agent to join our fast-growing and busy business in the heart of Dandenong. This is a full-time role.
About you:
- Proven 1-2 years of experience working in a travel agency
- Familiarity with SABRE GDS is highly desired. However, we're willing to train the right candidate.
- Familiarity with foreign and domestic travel destinations is highly desirable.
- Good spoken and written communication skills.
- Multilingual candidates are highly desirable.
- Familiarity with visa processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting and booking travel packages, flights, accommodations, tours, and other travel-related services.
- Provide expert advice on travel destinations, itineraries, and travel options.
- Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
- Create personalized travel itineraries that cater to individual customer preferences and budgets.
Stay up to date with the latest travel trends, destinations, and industry developments.
- Collaborate with travel suppliers, including airlines, hotels, and tour operators, to secure the best deals and offers for our customers.
- Process bookings, reservations, and payments accurately and efficiently.
- Resolve customer issues, complaints, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and travel arrangements.
-Promote additional travel-related products and services to enhance the customer's experience.
You will have an open mind and willingness to learn and adapt to meet our client’s needs, including ability to take detailed instructions from clients and provide the appropriate advice.
