This year I am testing out the 'straw method' for growing my potato crop which requires laying the seed potato on top of the ground and covering with straw as opposed to digging holes and planting them.

So far, the crop is looking fantastic and upon investigation underneath the layers of straw yesterday, I do indeed have potatoes.

There is approximately 2 weeks between these pics so things are moving along quite swiftly. 🌱
