East West Brewing Co. at Wink Hotel – A Great Little Discovery

While out exploring the local area, we decided to stop in at East West Brewing Co., located at the Wink Hotel Danang Centre, and it turned out to be a fantastic pit stop.

From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. The venue has a great vibe, blending modern design with a laid-back brewery feel, making it the perfect place to take a break from sightseeing, enjoy a cold drink, and soak in the local energy.

One thing that really stood out was the staff. Everyone we spoke with was friendly, approachable, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They were knowledgeable about the beers on offer and happy to provide recommendations based on individual tastes, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

The brewery offers a great selection of craft beers, catering to a variety of preferences, whether you’re a fan of crisp lagers, hoppy IPAs, or something a little different. It was refreshing to find a venue where the team clearly understands their product and takes pride in helping guests find something they’ll enjoy.

If you’re staying at Wink Hotel or simply exploring Da Nang, East West Brewing Co. is well worth a visit. It’s a great place to relax, enjoy a quality craft beer, and experience some genuine hospitality. Sometimes the best travel experiences aren’t the big attractions but the unexpected places you discover along the way, and this was definitely one of them.

Overnight Stay at the Caro Premium Hotel, Da Nang

After arriving in Da Nang, we checked into the Caro Premium Hotel and were excited to begin our stay in this vibrant coastal city.

One of the standout features of the hotel was the exceptional customer service. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. From check-in to departure, they went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience.

Another major highlight was our stay in the Dragon Suite. The room was spacious and offered fantastic views of the city. While the bed was somewhat hard and not as comfortable as we would have preferred, the room was still a pleasant place to relax after a day of exploring Da Nang and added a special touch to our trip.

The hotel itself was clean and conveniently located, making it easy to visit many of Da Nang’s top attractions. One of the most memorable experiences was watching the famous Dragon Bridge come to life as it spectacularly breathed fire and water during the evening show. Seeing this iconic landmark in action was an unforgettable highlight of our stay.

On our first night in Da Nang, we also enjoyed spending time at the hotel’s rooftop bar. The atmosphere was fantastic, with great views overlooking the city lights. It was the perfect setting to unwind, enjoy a drink, and take in the excitement of our first evening in Da Nang.

Overall, the Caro Premium Hotel offers outstanding service, comfortable accommodations, and an excellent location for exploring the city. Combined with the incredible Dragon Bridge show, our stay in the Dragon Suite, and a relaxing evening at the rooftop bar, it made for a wonderful introduction to Da Nang.

✈️ Leg 3 Underway - Ho Chi Minh City to Da Nang! 🇻🇳

🌏 A Night in Ho Chi Minh City Before the Final Leg 🇻🇳

After a long day of travel and multiple flights, it was time to slow things down and recharge. I spent the night in Ho Chi Minh City at the Lotus Airport Hotel, a welcome stop before continuing on to Da Nang.

Sometimes travel isn't just about the destinations. It's about the moments in between. The layovers, the new sights, the unfamiliar streets, and the anticipation of what's still to come. Even with only a short stay, Ho Chi Minh City offered a glimpse of its energy, culture, and constant movement.

After some much-needed rest, I'm back at the airport and ready for the final leg of this journey. The excitement is definitely building as I'm now just one flight away from seeing my beautiful wife, who has been exploring Da Nang and sharing her discoveries with me along the way.

The countdown is on. One more boarding call, one more takeoff, and the adventure truly begins.

✈️ Leg 2 Underway - Melbourne to Ho Chi Minh City! 🇦🇺➡️🇻🇳

The journey continues!

After a smooth first leg into Melbourne, I’m now settled in at the gate waiting to board the flight to Ho Chi Minh City. There’s always something exciting about this part of the trip, watching the aircraft arrive, listening to the boarding announcements, and knowing that a new adventure is only a few hours away.

For now, I’m kicking back and enjoying a nice cold Corona while taking in the atmosphere and reflecting on the journey ahead. Soon enough, I’ll be swapping the cool Melbourne air for the vibrant streets, incredible food, and bustling energy of Ho Chi Minh City.

Next stop: Vietnam! 🇻🇳

Fukuoka greeted me not with fanfare, but with a quiet confidence. Nestled on Japan’s southern island of Kyushu, this coastal city blends ancient shrines with neon-lit streets, offering a rhythm that’s both grounded and forward-moving. It’s a place where leadership lessons are hidden in the details, like the precision of a sushi chef or the grace of a temple monk.

💬 Reflections from the Chief

Fukuoka isn’t flashy, it’s intentional. It doesn’t shout; it invites. In its temples, I found reverence. In its streets, I found rhythm. And in its people, I found a quiet pride that speaks volumes. This city reminded me that leadership isn’t always about being loud, it’s about being present, listening deeply, and honoring the journey.
