It is with genuine disappointment that I need to advise that tomorrow’s event at Wantima Golf Club has unfortunately been postponed.

I received a call from the club just now confirming that the course will be closed tomorrow due to the current weather conditions and the impact on course playability. We are already in discussions to reschedule the event and will aim to confirm an alternate date later in the year.

The weather has certainly played havoc with our golfing calendar this season, which I know is as frustrating for you as it is for me. I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this change may cause to your plans.

Thank you for your understanding and ongoing support. I’ll be in touch again soon with updates regarding the rescheduled event.

I’ve just received an update from McLeod Golf Club advising that due to wet playing conditions, no carts will be permitted on course for our event tomorrow morning. If you are unable to walk the course and need to cancel, please let me know so we can plan accordingly. The forecast looks good so hopefully it will still be a great event!

A beautiful day on course this morning! Amazing effort by the team at The Glades Golf Club to have the course in such playable condition after the challenges presented with recent weather. Having carts on the course with freshly mown fairways and pure greens = a great day!
