What's Happening Tomorrow!
Saturday the 15th of August!

Numurkah Louis Hamon Park parkrun
Will be meeting at the rotunda in the Louis Hamon Rose Garden at 7.50am for a walk, jog or run.

Across the creek next to the skate park

The Numurkah Lions Club Market will be on from 8am until 12pm
with a variety of stalls. Come say hi to the Lions Members at their BBQ.

After you complete your morning exercise and get some breakfast from the Lions club market BBQ make your way in to the Numurkah Showgrounds to watch.

Numurkah Football Netball Club face off against Rumbalara in football and netball. Games starting from 9:45am.

Then after supporting our teams, pop in to the Numurkah Community Learning Centre Inc for a afternoon of building Lego's at the Lego club from 2pm until 3:30pm in the President's Room.

Looking for a night out on the town then come join Movies at Numurkah at the Numurkah Town Hall at 7:30pm for the movie "The Choral".

Or are you someone who wants to party the night away, if so join the Telegraph Hotel Numurkah from 8pm to perform Karaoke hosted by Kelly.

ROLL UP ROLL UP!

The Circus is coming to town!

Eroni's Circus will be performing at the Numurkah Showgrounds next weekend. Come enjoy beautiful, glamorous costuming, lively original music, traditional circus clowns, juggling, hand balancing, hula hoops, the cutest performing goats, the smell of sawdust and popcorn in the air and the anticipation of what exciting act will come out next, through the red velvet curtain.

Performing
FRIDAY 7TH AUGUST 7PM
SATURDAY 8TH AUGUST 7PM
SUNDAY 9TH AUGUST 1PM

General admission tickets are only $35 for adults and $25 for children.
(First row ringside are only an extra $5 per person.)

No bookings are available.
Tickets are available onsite from one hour before each show.

Snack foods are available from the circus food trailer.
There are also games and novelty souvenirs for sale.

The performance duration is approximately one hour and forty five minutes with an intermission.

To all Businesses in the Numurkah district.

A new grant has open up for applications this past Monday 27th of July. This grant is the The Amex Shop Small Grants program.

Administered by Mainstreet Australia and supported by American Express, the program will provide up to AUD $2 million in grants. The program is designed to help independently owned Australian small businesses by supporting projects that help them grow, innovate and support their local communities.

Grant applications are open from 27 July 2026 and close at 11.59pm (AEST) on 6 September 2026. The application assessment and grant awarding process will be undertaken from September – October 2026; project delivery must be completed from November 2026 – April 2027.
