Iceland in winter completely surprised me.

It’s not just the landscapes (although they’re incredible)… it’s the feeling of being there. Watching geysers erupt, hiking to frozen waterfalls, and catching a glimpse of the northern lights through the clouds... it all feels a little bit surreal.

A small but meaningful milestone today.

One year ago I took a leap of faith and started my own business. Like most new ventures it came with plenty of unknowns, but it has also been one of the most rewarding experiences.

I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported me over the past year. Every booking, referral, message of encouragement, and recommendation has helped make this journey possible.

This year I’m also giving myself more time to write and focus on my creativity, something I’ve always loved but haven’t prioritised enough.

Did you know that Langkawi is a duty free island?

We were originally booked to stay at .resort on Tioman Island (who were very generous in not charging a cancellation fee), but thanks to wet season doing its thing and ferry crossing being cancelled last minute, plans had to change (the day before we left… classic). Thankfully, this is where I shine!✨ Calm under pressure and very good at sorting out last minute curveballs when travel plans go sideways 😅✈️

Enter Langkawi - and honestly, what a place 😍. has a private beach, lush jungle vibes, amazing spa treatments and the loveliest, most attentive staff which made it such a great stay. And since Langkawi is duty free, which means cheaper cocktails… yes, I absolutely took full advantage of those pina coladas by the pool 🍹

On the way home we stopped in Singapore and finally ticked off a stay at the stunning , a hotel I’ve wanted to stay at forever. And, it did not disappoint.

From jungle walks and beach days to wet char kway teow, skyline views and spa time, a chance to unwind and reset, another adventure done right, even when the plans changed at the last minute. And honestly? Sometimes those are the best trips ✈️✨💚

I’m heading off on a little adventure of my own ✨

From today, I’ll be off exploring Malaysia — with a cheeky side quest to Singapore, because why not 😏✈️

I’ll still be open for bookings and enquiries while I’m away (travel never sleeps), but replies may be a little slower than usual while I’m on the move and soaking it all in.

I’ll be back to regular programming on 7 January, refreshed, inspired and probably planning my next trip already.
