Thanks everyone for your concern. Flight Centre Travel Group has been restructuring businesses for the last 12-24months since rebranding our Escape Travel and Cruiseabout brands, to maximise our growth and make way for new developments. The store closures announced today are part of that long term plan.

We’ve made it through SARS, 9/11, GFC and everything in between - we are still here and we expect to come out of this stronger than ever.

Our Travel Experts have never been in such high demand - they are working around the clock under extreme pressure to rearrange and postpone travel plans for our customers. I am so proud to work for this company.
