For as long as I can remember I have always had a passion for travel which led me to start my career as a Travel Agent in 1999! I have travelled to over 34 countries and won many awards. My global geographical skills assist me in providing my clients with the best route

After being in the travel industry for so long you come to realise that success comes from growth through product knowledge and experience, loving what you do every day and I can honestly say I love it more now than I did when I started. I love going the extra mile and my clients know that they are in safe hands and will receive a stress-free travel experience with me taking care of every detail in the background, regardless of what nature or airlines have in mind. With the global situation the way it is, it is the best time for me to operate my own Travel Business. Antarctica is one of the most breathtaking places I have ever seen. It is hard to put into words just how gorgeous it is in real life. The light on the ice, the stillness, the huge open landscapes and that feeling of being somewhere so remote and untouched all make it feel completely unforgettable.

And then there is the wildlife. Seeing penguins in their natural habitat, watching seals stretched out on the ice, and spotting whales out in the water adds a whole other layer of magic to the experience. It is one thing to see photos of Antarctica, but being there and witnessing the beauty of the landscape and the animals together is something else entirely.

No matter where you are headed, there are a few travel essentials I always recommend having sorted before you leave. Keeping the basics right can make your whole trip feel smoother, easier and far less stressful. My top 3 travel essentials are:

1.) Your passport
This one sounds obvious, but it is the most important of all. Make sure it is valid well beyond your travel dates and always double check any visa or entry requirements before you go.

2.) Travel insurance
It is one of those things you hope you never need, but you will be so glad to have it if plans change, luggage goes missing or you run into unexpected issues while away.

3.) A clear itinerary and key documents
Having your flights, accommodation, transfers and important confirmations all in one place makes a huge difference. It helps you feel organised and confident, especially on busy travel days.

It’s Where I’d Go Wednesday, and today I would pick Switzerland. There is something about the lakes, the mountain views, the charming little towns and those scenic train journeys that makes it feel effortlessly special. It is the kind of destination that feels peaceful and impressive all at once.

I especially love Switzerland for travellers who want beautiful scenery without feeling rushed.
