2.Don’t Flush Toilet Paper – Most plumbing can’t handle it. Use the bin provided in the bathroom.

3.Don’t Walk Around with Expensive Items – Petty theft can happen in busy areas, so keep valuables secure and out of sight.

4.Don’t Ride a Scooter Without a Helmet or Insurance – Accidents are common, and medical care can be costly. If you ride, always wear a helmet and check your insurance coverage.

1.Dress Modestly at Temples – Be sure to cover your shoulders and knees when visiting sacred sites like Angkor Wat.

2.Remove Your Shoes – Always take your shoes off before entering homes and temples as a sign of respect.

3.Use the Sampeah Greeting – Instead of a handshake, greet locals with palms pressed together and a slight bow.

4.Respect Monks – Never touch a monk (especially if you’re a woman) and speak to them with respect. Always offer things with both hands.
