Qantas has announced two new international routes from Perth, with direct flights to Auckland and Johannesburg launching in December 2025. These additions will contribute over 155,000 seats annually, reinforcing Perthโ€™s position as a key international hub and supporting economic growth through increased tourism and job creation.

This expansion is part of Qantasโ€™ broader international growth strategy, now connecting customers to over 100 destinations worldwide. Other network enhancements include:

โ–ช๏ธ Daily Brisbaneโ€“Los Angeles services on the Boeing 787 Dreamliner from October 2025, increasing premium seat availability
โ–ช๏ธ Seasonal daily services between Melbourneโ€“Dallas and Brisbaneโ€“Los Angeles over the peak travel period
โ–ช๏ธ Transition of Sydneyโ€“Honolulu flights from Jetstar to Qantas, offering 5โ€“6 services per week

Great news for UK-bound travellers โ€” Singapore Airlines is increasing its service to London Gatwick, with daily flights launching from 28 June 2025. This expansion gives you even more flexibility when flying between Australia and the UK, especially if you're heading to Londonโ€™s south or exploring nearby regions.

The route will continue to operate using the spacious Airbus A350-900, known for its comfort and excellent inflight experience. With more seats and smoother connections, itโ€™s a welcome boost for both holidaymakers and business travellers alike.

I've held roles such as Regional Sales Leader and Head of Growth, and joined Globetrotter in 2022 as Global Client Relations Manager.

Last week, the CT Partners community came together at Crown Melbourne for a few unforgettable days of connection, insights and celebration. Kicking off with the Owner/Manager Meeting and followed by our first-ever Supplier Showcase, the event brought great energy and momentum for the year ahead.

It was fantastic to have our CEO, Fiona Prosser, attend and represent our team, reconnecting with familiar faces and meeting new ones along the way.

One of the standout sessions was Simon Hillierโ€™s โ€œGet There AI โ€“ Prompt Like a Proโ€ workshop. He broke down some of todayโ€™s leading AI tools in a really practical, engaging way. It sparked plenty of ideas on how to use AI more effectively in our everyday work.

Meanwhile, Melbourne might have been buzzing with the F1, but we had our own action-packed showcase. With 26 of our preferred partners attending, there were loads of great conversations, new connections and valuable insights shared.

From learning to networking and everything in between, the Owner/Manager Meeting and Supplier Showcase reminded us just how powerful this community really is.

Weโ€™re walking into 2025 feeling inspired and energised โ€“ and we canโ€™t wait to see whatโ€™s next.
