This story reminds me why I love travel so much.

Travel gives us something we don't always get at homeuninterrupted time together.

No rushing off to work.
No school runs.
No endless to-do lists.

Just time to slow down, be present and enjoy being together.

That's what makes family travel so special. It's not just about the destination it's about creating travel memories with the people you love that you'll be talking about for years to come.

The seasickness? I could've done without. 😂

But the laughs, the memories, and the time together?
I wouldn't change it for the world. 🩷

What's one travel memory your family still talks about years later? 👇

"Couldn't I just book it myself?"

It's a question I hear a lot.

And the answer is always the same...

Absolutely. You can.

But working with a travel advisor isn't just about booking flights & hotels.

It's about having someone who understands the
bigger picture.

Someone who helps you weigh up your options, spot the details that are easy to miss, and plan an international journey that suits your priorities.

Whether you're travelling home to visit loved ones, planning a family holiday, booking a cruise, adding a stopover, or putting together a multi-city itinerary, my goal is simple:

✨ To make travel feel easier.

So you can spend less time second-guessing your plans and more time looking forward to the memories
you'll make.

I'd love to know...

Have you ever used a travel advisor before, or have you always planned your own trips? 👇

So cool, what are the chances. Still smiling about this one! 🩷🇮🇪

Here's a story for you...

Last night I went along to the Mo Chara Irish Social Group meetup at Molly's Irish Pub to connect with other Irish people. I walked in on my own, spotted two girls sitting together and asked if I could join them. We chatted away for a while until one of them asked what part of Ireland I was from.

She then asked if I knew a person called "**"
I couldn't believe it when I realised not only did i know this person who was their cousin, but we were best friends from secondary school and I'd even babysat them when they were newborn twins!

What are the chances? After all these years, and on the other side of the world, our paths crossed again. It was such a lovely reminder of how small the Irish community can feel, no matter where you are.

Sometimes all it takes is the courage to walk into a room on your own. You never know who you'll meet or what connections are waiting for you 💚

It's moments like these that remind me why we're creating Sláinte a space for Irish women to connect and make new friendships and share stories.

Only a few tickets for our first workshop remaining xx

When you're planning a big overseas trip, there's a lot more to consider than just the price of a flight.

After helping clients plan everything from trips home to big family holidays I've learnt the best itinerary is never decided by one thing alone.

What matters most to you? ✈️

Getting there as quickly as possible?
Making the journey part of the holiday?
Saving money, even if it means a longer travel day?
Meeting your family somewhere in between for?

For me, value is everything.

The right choice isn't always the cheapest flight it's the option that gives you the best overall value based on your budget, your time and the reason you're travelling.

That's why I don't just compare flights.

I help my clients make informed travel decisions, explore their options and book with confidence. 🩷

There’s a kind of guilt that can come with living abroad that people don’t talk about enough.

You miss the little things. The moments that never felt too important… until they became memories.

And while you’re building a life somewhere else life keeps moving back home too.

Kids grow up. Parents get older. Friendships change. Some chapters close without you even realising they’re ending.

It might sound dramatic but sometimes it feels like a kind of grief. Grieving the chapters of life that kept moving without you in them.

You can be grateful for the life you’ve built and still miss the life you left behind.

That is why my travel business means so much to me.

Because travel is rarely just about getting from A to B.

Sometimes it’s about getting back to the people you miss, having a well needed catch up and making the most of the time you do have together.

Because time passes whether we’re ready for it or not 🩷

Can anyone living abroad relate?

Flights from Australia to Ireland can look cheap at first… until they’re not ✈️.

When you’re booking a trip home, the cheapest fare isn’t always the best option.

A long layover, awkward arrival time, baggage fees or tight connections can quickly turn a “cheap” flight into one you regret.

And when you haven’t been home in a while, the journey matters more than people think.

Getting home should feel exciting not exhausting.

If you’re planning a trip home and feeling overwhelmed by all the options, feel free to message me 📩

If you're flying from Australia to Europe, there's a good chance you're stopping in Singapore.

Why not stop for a while and make the most of it? 😄

From Singapore, places like Phuket, Bali, Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur are all within just a few hours. Or if cruising is more your thing you could even see multiple destinations in one trip.

If any of these options caught your eye, feel free to give message me I’d be happy to help

We all know it’s not the same! 😅

And neither is a video call or a voice note.

If getting home to see family has been on your mind or you’re just craving a proper pint. 🍺

Travel Update! ✈️

Good news for anyone travelling through the Middle East.

Australia's Smartraveller advice for the UAE and Qatar has been lowered from "Do Not Travel" to "Reconsider Your Need to Travel."

Advice levels have also been lowered for Israel, Bahrain and Kuwait, while Lebanon remains at "Do Not Travel."

If you have upcoming travel plans through the region, I'd still recommend:

✔️ Checking the latest Smartraveller advice before you travel.
✔️ Making sure you have suitable travel insurance in place.
✔️ Keeping an eye on any updates before departure.

As always travel advice can change so it's worth staying informed if you're travelling through the Middle East in the coming months. 😊
