☀️❄️ It's definitely cooling down in City of Moreton Bay but that doesn't mean the poolside fun is over.

Enjoy heated pools that are ready for year-round use:

🏝️ Settlement Cove Lagoon remains open with Lifeguards on duty 7:00AM-6:00PM Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays.

🚧 Albany Creek Leisure Centre will be receiving upgrades to their indoor and outdoor pools. The indoor pool will be closed for 8 weeks beginning May 5 (weather permitting) and the 50-metre pool will remain closed through to August.

Don't forget - when enjoying the pool with little ones, always ensure they are supervised by a parent or carer.

Our Visitor Information Centres in Bribie Island, Redcliffe, Samford, and Woodford will be closed today, Saturday 25 April, as our staff and volunteers pause to reflect and pay tribute to our Anzacs.
We thank you for your understanding as we honour the courage and sacrifice of those who have served. 🌺
Normal operations will resume tomorrow.

PLEASE NOTE / IMPORTANT UPDATE Notorious
CANCELLATION OF PLANNED OPEN DAYS 26th/27th April 2026 AT SCARBOROUGH BOAT HARBOUR 😔
We are very disappointed to have made the call to postpone our Open for Public Inspection days this weekend, Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th April 2026
Notorious was unable to berth last night during a carefully chosen forecast lull in the southerly winds blowing to 29 knots ..
Midnight saw Notorious inside the Scarborough Boat Harbour making two attempts to safely reach the Jetty…🫣
Off shore winds are difficult for berthing a ship with windage and limited manoeuvrability, we really tried… 😩
2am saw Notorious safely at anchor outside the Scarborough Boat Harbour, with the Caravelle planning to remain in Deception Bay during the current weather system.,
Our sincere apologies 🥺 to all the excited, little ( and not so little ) pirates intending to explore the ship this weekend…we’re keen to return 😊

Launched in February 2011, her Captain, Graeme Wylie, the researcher, designer and builder, and crew have sailed Notorious over 26000NM through the Southern Ocean, Bass Strait, The Tasman and Coral Seas.
